This was my first shopping with ebay and the experience is very bad. I have paid Rs.2449/- thru paisapay on 26th Oct'05 for a DVD player and till today (21st Nov'05 -25 days after payment) I have not recd the Item. I feel, I lost the money. Never again with ebay....

There is no question of forfitting your money. Try to communicate with the seller either by phone or by email and wait for his/her response. If he/she not respond within 7 days then go through Item Not Received process from your My eBay page. I'm sure you will receive item or get refund your money.

I had sent many messages to Truemart(the Seller), but no responce. Finally I asked for his contact details & I got his mobile no. I tried many times on this number but he is not picking up & also not giving reply to my SMS. Then I opened 'Item not recd' dispute on 9th Nov. Now 13 days is completed, no answer from ebay. There are similar cases with this seller which i came to know later from feedbacks. I hope I will get my money back soon. Pls do something...

I am sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience.

However, as you must be aware, The first step in such cases is to file for a Item not received dispute. The next step would be to close the dispute and escalate your claim for Buyer Protection.

You may close the dispute by - On the View Dispute: Respond page you will be able to see 3 options.

1. I'd like to add a message to seller and continue communication. (If you wish to communicate with your seller)
2. My concerns have been resolved - I want to close this dispute. (if you and seller have resolved the matter)
3. I feel I have no other option but to escalate this to a claim. (if you want to escalate to an eBay Standard Purchase Protection Program claim)

Hi Jaisonkv1,

I think when you list such problem its good if you mention the name of the seller. I think in this case its truemart. Also saw that you have already put the -ve feedback for this deal. I think its justified because unless you put the -ve feedback, other potential buyers can not ascertain the previous deals properly.

Hope you have already opened an Item Not Received case. It will help you to get back your money in case of a non-delivery. However, from the profile of the seller its clear that the seller is always late in delivering goods. Hope you will get it sometime.

i feel that the e-bay people are themselves hands-in-glove with the sellers who are nothing but crooks. i have been a bazee member since 2001, and what i see now is that the entire bent of e-bay has changed from being buyer-oriented to seller- oriented. needless to say crooks are making merry. i paid for an item (no. 8229090400) long back and till date i have not received the item. seller very conveniently said that he has not received the payment which was online bank transfer. e-bay's dispute console does not allow me to escalate my dispute to a claim although so many days have passed and the seller is not responding. moreover e-bay site no where gives us any phone number or lodge complaint link. surely the site itself needs to be prosecuted.

I have one suggestion to ebay that unless buyer gives confirmation of receipt of the Item, don’t pay to the seller. Now there is a possibility that the seller can runaway with the payment & the buyer have to suffer.

In my case I have not recd the Item after one month of payment and I have claimed for money. Incase if I don’t receive the reimbursement within one month, I am going to file against ebay thru Cyber Crime Cell. I am sure that there are many buyers like me & I will get good support from them.

Hi Jaisonkv1,

Its good that you have opened the dispute. Also intimate your credit / debit card operator about the incidence as most of them provide some sort of insurance against such purchases.

Keep on sending complains thru contact us and such feedback forums to make ebay aware about your displeasures and for solution to the problem. As you have paid thru Paisapay, ebay has the responsibility to ensure that you atleast receive the product.

Trust someone from ebay will take up your matter for some real action, rather than just providing some links.

I am happy with your reply and sure that ebay will take care of its customers. I hope you can understand the frustration of a customer who paid for the product and Item not recd after one month. And the funny thing is we can get this product on same price from the shop, there is no hassle at all. Only thing is we have to spend little time on this. If such things happens again and again, people will not prefer emarketing.
