Is this all Gimmicks to attract Seller, Buyers!!! May Be!

I dont know if any one remembers about Use and Win prize which was conducted in SEPT 2005. Till today i have not received any proper details in regards to this... And any emails send to the particular person who handles this issues - either never answers or else this is just gimmicks to attract sellers & buyers.

eBay India somehow is not able to give either convincing answers to any of the questions post most of the time... It is really very unhappy to say that, it really is not worth all the spends the sellers do, after all this USE AND WIN promotions, etc.

I doubt if anybody has ever received any prize for the promotions done by eBay India. If someone has i think he is luck... Anyway, this definitely has made me sure that i start sell smartly than get into trap.

I agree it was a very ill planned promotion ...
Though many may have got the prizes ,
I still haven't got what was promised and that too
because of lack of proper answers recieved on how to collect the prize ...
Its not the prize not recieved issue that bothers me
But rather no convincing answers and making us think that
These were only gimmicks makes me unhappy

My suggestion is that after every competition / promotion where prizes are awarded ...ebay must start a thread.

In that thread the list of winners should be announced.

Then, when the Prizes are dispatched from ebay's end.... it must be posted on the thread.

This way, members who feel awkward asking for the prize ....again & again ....would have the first hand knowledge.

The members who don't receive the prizes may keep posting on this thread. .
