Please correct/update...

I think the India Speed Post tracking sites are either of the following:

http://services.ptcmysore.gov.in/Speednettracking/

or

http://www.indiapost.gov.in/netscape/Track.html

By the way, the first one never shows any information and the second one throws out perpetual error messages....

I advice sellers not to send by India post:-
A seller shipped item through speed post.The postman didn't even come at my doorstep,but in tracking it showed door locked parcel sent back to H.O.I had to go to the post office to collect the parcel.
As a seller myself,some time back shipped an eye pencil through speed post.They accepted the parcel that time.But today when I went with a parcel with the same content they refused to ship the parcel.

Indian speed post is reliable service. Give them all document regarding shipment, pack properly, declare shipment information in a letter, if possible do insurance. They deliver faster than many reputed courier service provider. Further hard chance of steal.

@ tracking issue-- After the shipment, wait for atleast one or two days to become tracking live. Same is the thing with every courier company.

indian speed post is the most worst postal service in the world......, i dont know how many times my parcels have been opened and  half of the stuf was stollen... even after complaining no action has been taken,  even i had not recived some of the parcels... hope you will find out one day  that its the worst one......it will be my very last option to go for speed post of india....

after placing the order you have to pay by any way. then you have to call customer care number , which had mailed in your mail. you have to speak to him and tell the paisa pay id, and told him to place the order by india post. that solve

I hate India speed post. go for BlueDart 1. The speed post tracking is not correct always. 2. The postman didn't even come at my doorstep. I had to go to the post office to collect the parcel.
