Important for all Sellers : Free Shipping Glitch

Hello,

There seems some bug in ebay buy option.

In the last one week we noticed that three transactions were done in our account with Free Local Shipping where National Shipping was to be applied.

We are in Noida and the Items ordered had only free local shipping.However we noticed that people from hyderabad had placed orders with free shipping. The difference was that the invoice had this written

"The buyer has updated the total".

We have informed ebay TNS and still awaiting reply.

Our findings:
1.The pincode is usually wrong in such cases.
2.Three such attempts we have seen from Hyderabad.Two with same address.
3.Shipping is usually mentioned as International-Expediated.

So friends please check carefully check before shipping.

even i had a similar problem - buyer got shipping charge as Rs 20 for first item when it should be Rs 48!!! Only additional items as per my listing are Rs 20 - BUT HE BOT 1 ITEM YET HIS INVOICE SHOWED RS 20!! HOW? He used mode of pymt. as "other".
