I tried to buy an Electric Iron (Item No. 4407173168) from Neelachal, the seller. I paid the amount required, but did not receive the Item. The seller realised the money I paid by cheque. The seller is no longer registered with the ebay, after receiving the money! I was waiting for long. Now, even the time for registering a complaint is over. I feel cheated in the meantime. What to do?
The entire episode suggests me to quit this ebay business which seems GROSSLY UNRELIABLE.

Hi,
Don't worry, Report the seller to ebay by opening a dispute "Item Not Recieved".
The below link may help you.

HI,
You have won the item on 29-Sep and reporting it after more than 60days! One can open a dispute after 10days of winning. Considering you have paid by cheque, its justified that you opted to wait more but in no way there is justification to wait beyond a month.
Its true that in ebay there are many frauds (both sellers & buyers). But the same is true in all our conventional low cost markets and bazars. There we remain careful and should practice the same alertness in case of ebay also. Buying / selling thru computer doesnt mean a operating in a fraud free environment. On contrary, I think there are more literate frauds than the illiterate cheaters.
Hope someone from ebay will answer you to recommend the best possible action for possible recovery of your money. But had you reported earlier, the situation would have been less grim.
