HAS THE REMOVAL OF LISTING UPGRADES REALLY BEEN BENEFICIAL????

Has the removal of listing updates really been beneficial to the sellers??

By removing the Border, Bold, Featured Plus, Gallery Featured, Highlight and Pro Pack the business for the sellers have been affected in a negative way.

Before the removal of the features the buyers also got a guidance on buying as many products were promoted in a unique way and they stood out amongst the others.

Also it was beneficial to ebay.in according to their sales point of view and also many upcoming sellers could use these features to boost their businesses.

As per the buyer's point of view it never harmed them visually and it was a treat for the buyers to find out the highlighted listings and get the best offers which also saved them a lot of money.

I would appreciate if many sellers post their point of view for the same so that ebay.in can once again review on their decision of removal of listing upgrades and can come up with some similar features by which a seller can uniquely list / display their products as compared to other sellers.

I think, the Home Page feature should be replaced with Pro Pack. In addition to this, there should be a limit of 3 to 5 Pro Pack per category. This limit will help reduce overcrowding of Pro Pack in the first few pages of search results. Sellers who do not use Pro Pack will also be able to display their listing in the first few pages.

i think ebay has taken positive step
as many new fraud sellers can easily come sell and run away
so to stabilize the system and keeping it calm
this new system is beneficial

i am very sure after sometime they will re activate this system
cmon soon everyone will get used to it
provide good service,provide good product
keep a followup ..you will surely get repeat sales
i do agree the pro pack option was easy sales.
but sometimes it necessary to work hard too

We do work hard hence we came to this level. This feature gave a boost to sales

definitely a negative impact and I quit selling just fur to this lame removal of upgrades.

it was of no harm to anyone.
may be there was a little bit of overcrowding, but I feel the PACKS could have been bettered with a new simple policy instead of total removal.
1)eBay has along with sellers lost a lot of revenue, we sellers are most affected. my revenue went down to almost 20% - a steep decrease of around 80%!!!
2)buyers can no more find unique deals and items.
3)for new sellers, this system really doesnt work.
4)I lost total interest in selling after this. 😞


PLEASE BRING BACK THE "PRO PACK" FOR GOOD, EBAY.
I don't know if this falls on deaf ears as always or not.

Pro pack was one of the best upgrades ever showcasing unique deals.
It also gave eBay a lot of earning.

Unfortunately they removed it.
