With the launch of Blogs and My World and now the Fun Stuff category, we want to give you all a chance to promote your talents, ideas, showcase a unique product or even bring out a smile in the reader’s face…

Your ideas whether eccentric or interesting can be presented to the world through unique listings on eBay India. The listings in the Fun Stuff category will be in Auction, Buy It Now and Classifieds formats. Following are the guidelines for Buyers and Sellers.

Creative_pursuits: I cannot view your listing. If your listing is above the minimum starting price (great than Rs. 0.99), is explicitly stated as a humorous or witty listing, doe not violate any of the eBay prohibited and restricted item policies, you are fine to go ahead and list.

Cochinmall: Please do go ahead and relist the ‘air guitar’ and I do hope it proves to be very popular with many visitors and bidders. It could be a great fun gift for New Year.

Cosycom: Very innovative listing. Love the Mother nature touch.

Techniwas: Yes, the three winners were eBay employees as it turns out though not all the bidders were. The point of sharing the example of using PaisaPay to receive payment on a Fun Category listing was to encourage you all to not be concerned about the New PaisaPay process even for a electronic delivery or a humorous ‘no item’ listing as long as you and the buyer do follow the process.

Dear Deepa , Just after posting my earlier thanks reply to you in this forum I am surprised to receive a mail from ebay that my listing has been removed due to a copyright violation.
I am wondering which copy right I have violated. the pics posted by me are my own original photographs , taken by me myself with my own camera recently.

Very strange happenings ????????????
anyway thanks for appreciating once even if I donot get any prize .

Dear Deepa and eBay staff , Refer to your various messages and strange happenings in this forum . We can clearly see how complicated and difficult can be to creat a successful listing for a new ebayer when so experienced users like me and ebay staff like you are helpless against eBay,s automatic listing violation monitoring system .
At this rate thousands of listings might have been getting removed daily to the disappointment of sellers wondering what actually happened .

Hope New year will see some human touch also towards these situations . Presently ebay seems to be totally controlled by dictator robots.
