Why should eBay -- the site we trust -- fool us by advertising mobile phones for Rs 1481 and Rs 2000, etc. and then put up a small asterisk on the top right hand corner which tells us the amount is actually the EMI from a bank? Is this the way to lure customers -- by offering misleading information on the home page? Shame on you, eBay! I, for one, will stop shopping on eBay until I get an apology...And remember, i am a regular eBayer...

Hello KG Kumar (kgkumar_in1),

Our intention with this promotion has clearly been to bring great deals to our users!

The Home page banner itself, clearly states what the asterix (*) means – ICICI EMI for 6 months. Also, once the member clicks on the banner he is taken to a landing page where he can see both the EMI Price as well as the actual price.

We strive to make shopping on eBay.in a safe and pleasurable experience, and community champions like you will help us in a long way.

We hope this clarifies any doubts users may have!

Regards
The eBay Team
