This new category will showcase the most popular, eccentric, interesting and unique listings on eBay and help you express your creativity.

Remember the community member who wanted to sell advertising space on his forehead? Or the user who had an idea for sale – no matter what your problem was? Or even the plant that spelled your heart’s message? Well, eBay India has seen such and many more quirky, simply unusual and even inspiring listings in the past.






While eBay has always been a great place to buy and sell – it's also endeavored to be a launch pad for its vibrant community to share their lives, likes and dislikes. With the launch of Blogs and My World and now the Fun Stuff category, we want to give you all a chance to promote your talents, ideas, showcase a unique product or even bring out a smile in the reader’s face…

Your ideas whether eccentric or interesting can be presented to the world through unique listings on eBay India. The listings in the Fun Stuff category will be in Auction, Buy It Now and Classifieds formats. Following are the guidelines for Buyers and Sellers.

But it seems others are still facing problem with the TnS.

I had a few more ideas ... but its too risky to try too many things here !!

yes its too risky...Infact i also have sum ideas and also
listed one of them day before but within 5 hours i received the danger email and my listing was removed.Neways now i am scared to try again.

I think all the weird creative listings are being removed because the fun category policies have not been altered by Ebay.they cannot simply have the same policies as for other listings for this category too.


Cochinmall,i had seen ur listing too and it was indeed a good idea but unfortunately ur listing has been removed.I sincerely request ebay especially the trust and safety team to do sumthing about the cancelled listings....please analyse and find out whether the listings intentionally exploit ebay policies and then take proper measures...atleast to remove the black spot from our seller records!!!!!!

Listing in fun category is such a headache.Add new paisapay along with it,tension would increase.I had a lot of creative ideas,so i check first with this listing.

Well,my first listing got removed,guess i have to think about a listing which has "something" in it rather than having "nothin" in it.

I guess the competition is all a sham brought out of the introduction.Where is Deepa? Guess ebay is in a festive mood enjoying.

Thanks for highlighting your concern and your patience. I have been on leave and hence was not able to respond earlier.

I think your listing is interesting and definitely unique. The Fun Stuff Category is called out as an exception to the 'No Item Policy" http://pages.ebay.in/help/policies/listing-no-item.html so you are allowed and encouraged to list unusual items like the 'air guitar'.

I believe the Trust & Safety team has been in touch with you to help you with your concern.

I would request your patience as this is a new category and different from the other eBay consumer product categories.

Compliments of the season and here is wishing you all a fun filled new year!

I wanted to take the opportunity to share with you my recent experience of selling in the Fun Stuff Category through my eBay trading id 'hipasia' and offering payment options via Paisa Pay.

I listed 'Time pass in Mumbai Traffic: 5 unique tips'

I had 3 winning bidders (7 bids in all) of which 2 paid through PaisaPay and 1 chose "Buyer Pick ups and Pays". I updated the shipping details in the My PaisaPay and shipped the items via email. All 3 buyers have left me feedback that they were happy with the transaction.

I take the opportunity to share this with you in the hope of encouraging you to bravely venture into this new world of Fun Stuff. Hopefully, you will start finding this rewarding very soon as we have some exciting ideas about promoting it in 2008.

In the meantime, I am pondering what I can list next, maybe 'free weekend hang out advice in Bandra -Khar - Juhu' complete with directions.

Thank you for the reply to the query.So,can i relist that item? The TnS team hasnt contacted me yet.They contacted me when my listing was removed. Actually,my listing was a unique hit and there were bidders for the item.

Could you confirm if i will be able to list the item without any difficulties.Listing without your confirmation would be a jeopardy to my user id.

And by the way,happy new year.Let the coming year be a complete collection of wierd and wacky listings from me. ebay.com has a lot of wcky listings(3600) as compared to ebay.in.I think the policies should be flexible for fun category.
