Or even the plant that spelled your heart’s message? Well, eBay India has seen such and many more quirky, simply unusual and even inspiring listings in the past.






While eBay has always been a great place to buy and sell – it's also endeavored to be a launch pad for its vibrant community to share their lives, likes and dislikes. With the launch of Blogs and My World and now the Fun Stuff category, we want to give you all a chance to promote your talents, ideas, showcase a unique product or even bring out a smile in the reader’s face…

Your ideas whether eccentric or interesting can be presented to the world through unique listings on eBay India. The listings in the Fun Stuff category will be in Auction, Buy It Now and Classifieds formats. Following are the guidelines for Buyers and Sellers.

This is an awesome idea.And fun too.I have heard of this in ebay.in,where sellers do it for enjoying selling on the site.

But the doubt which i had was that,how can buyers buy an item which doesnt exist physically or in short,how can the seller deliver an item which is impossible to deliver.

Dear Sapna , I have listed one of my interesting products in your new category .Perhaps this category will be helpful in highlighting many unique products which often remain unnoticed to genuine fun loving buyers looking for such items. But I insist eBay should strictly watch the listings whether they really belong to this category.

I think with a little imagination any product can be advertised with a cool funny touch.

My listing clearly mentioned we are not selling anything ... it was meant to be a humorous one ... still i had seen similar listing on ebay.com...

The Fun Stuff category is a unique corner of the eBay world and an expression of the fun and vibrant spirit of our marketplace. The new category will showcase the most popular, eccentric, interesting and unique listings on eBay.

What can I expect to list here?

This category is dedicated to the humorous, the unusual and the witty – like “Crushed Coke Can Shaped like Mumbai” or “Bisleri bottle used by John Abraham”.

How do buyers purchase items in this category?

Buying an item in the Fun Stuff category works just like buying an item in any of the other categories.

If it is an auction item, interested buyers place bids and the item is won by the highest bidder.

If it is a Buy It Now item, the buyer buys the item immediately at the mentioned price.

If it is a Classified Ad format, the buyer contacts the seller through email or phone and agrees on a price.

How do I list items in this category?

Like other categories, you will use the Sell Your Item form to create your listing. Choose the “Fun Stuff” category to list your item. You can also use Turbo Lister to list items in this category.

Will the buyer pay for the item?

Definitely! All the items in this category are for sale. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that the item they list can actually be delivered or owned by the buyers.

In case this is a humorous or witty item such as “Plot for sale on the Dark Side of the Moon”, sellers are encouraged to specify it in the listings.

Are there any fees for listing in this category?

No, you can list items absolutely free in this category. Any payments made through PaisaPay will be charged the PaisaPay facility charge.

The intent of this category is to showcase the most popular, eccentric, interesting and unique listings on eBay.
