Ebay Claim team is fooling buyers.

Upon receiving a fake addidas shoes, i raised a claim to refund the money.
After 15 days on 3rd Apr 2012 evening an Ebay representative from claim team called me and asked me to return the shoes to seller's address which he have to email me. He email address to me on 4th Apr.
As per his email i have to send that item within 3 days from the time i receive that email, accordingly i calculated my target date as 6th Apr eod.

But on safe side i sent the item via courier on 5th Apr morning, but when i get home to inform ebay, i saw an email that my claim ticket is CLOSED due to no responce from my side.
I was shocked, how come my luck is so bad.
I dont have the item and ebay also ditched me, leaving me nowhere.
My money is gone and i have also delivered the item back to seller. I feel like a big fool.

Can anybody please tell me what should i do in this case, how can i get my money back.

Please help.............
