I opened ebay account in March 2010
I listed items in March 2010
I opened ebay store in March 2010
Listed an Item in my new Store in March 2010

Hence I am eligible for the ebay's promotion of 6 months free ebay store.

Your system is wrongly charging me fees for the store from the very 1st month I opened my account in ebay.

I had written several times. but somebody without checking my account just casually reply back with useless information and is not willing to solve the issue.

I request you to please do your favour by going through the matter and solving it urgently.

Same story here!

EBay ID: thepaithani
Store: TouchofClass

Opened store and account in March 10. Just in days, eBay called me for different reasons and explained all promotions and listing methods. Then came a manager, who for only once very attentive and disappeared forever. No reply to mail and no phone call.

eBay charged me for 16-17 days of March and then for april and then invoice is with me for may.

I think, I will just close account as I don't see anything coming from eBay.

At the outset we are sorry for the inconvenience faced by you in getting a resolution on your concerns over the shop fee credits.

As per the process followed, credits are already posted for the sellers who meet the eligibility criteria for the past 3 months.

Eligibility Criteria is as under:

-All women sellers who have listed for the first time in March & subscribe for a shop in March
-Registration information will be checked to qualify women sellers.
-This is not applicable for people who are currently having a shop.

You may want to re-check if your account meets the eligibility criteria and in the meantime we shall also investigate and get back to you at the earliest on why the credits havenโ€™t been posted.

Dear thepaithani,

We regret the convenience faced by you. As mentioned in my earlier post, all eligible sellers have received the credits and I request you to check your invoice once again.

As per the billing process, the shop subscription fee is charged and reversed later in the form of credits. You should be able to view this in your invoice.

Please learn to use eBay rather then blaming it. What prevented you all to check the help pages or contact customer care before listing your items?

Before you were a seller on eBay, it was still the biggest online company. A business cannot be formed by cheating people. eBay never cheats. Its your lack of knowledge that makes you interpret like this.

EBAY CHEATING NEW SELLERS WITH FALSE PROMOTIONS! AND WRONG CHARGES!

Hello,

I am a seller at eBay.in. On 27th March 2010 i called eBay customer desk to confirming my eligibility for the 'Women's Day scheme - 6 month free shop subscription'. The lady on other end confirmed it and also guided me step-by-step to subscribe for the Shop. But, Shop Subscription fees was charged in my invoice.

(27-Mar - 15-Apr) Shop Subscription Fee - Rs.192.90
(16-Apr - 15-May) Shop Subscription Fee - Rs.299.00

Since the generation of Invoice I have called the customer care 3 times and they assured that I was wrongly charged and provided this email address on Apr 21, 2010 'incswebhelp@ebay.com' to mail my request there. I did that twice but they didn't replied in 23 days.

I am repeatedly getting the payment reminders via mails and even a phone call yesterday. I was asked for the name of the customer care executive who verified my eligibility to 'Women's Day scheme - 6 month free shop subscription'. I told him that i don't remember the name but executive was a girl.

Yesterday when i called cust.care, Sameera, The executive, told me that i'll get a call back in 12 hrs but still i got no call. case id is 00326683.

What did i do wrong? As a seller i did 100%. As per seller rules my listings, packaging, shipping, customer alerts, delivery time, feedback everything is appreciated by buyers. and now i have to pay for eBay's customer service.

As my fees are not yet reversed I have removed my listings and unsubscribed from selling manager and ebay store forever. I feel new sellers should expect and receive an encouraging support from a genuinely upward thinking company. when I felt harashment and misleading replies in the 1st month itself I have nothing to say about the company and its management. Its my mistake that I trusted it thinking it to be a big company run by healthy co-operation with is leveraging sellers.

Same story here also. As per the announcement on 18.03.10 that eBay will give women sellers free basic shop (shop opened for the first time in March 2010), I opened a shop in March 2010. However in the invoice of March 2010, Rs 299 shop fee was charged. I have sent an email to Customer Service on 3rd April 2010 for refund. On 16th April a reply came from them that in the invoice of next month the charge will be reversed. In the invoice of April instead of refunding me Rs 299 they have again charged me another Rs 299. I have sent mail again on 5th May 2010 to refund Rs 299 + Rs 299 = Rs 598. I have given copy of that mail to my Account Manager also. But ten days have since been passed neither Customer Service nor my Account Manager has given any reply till today and the credit was not posted against my account.
