eBay should never invite people for their seminars/functions only to insult them. If eBay is'nt "man" enough to see(or hear) what they truly are and what really happens on their site then why pretend to be open to views and dscussions. Just by arranging a dinner does not give eBay the 'Right' to do whatever they think.

Hello venugopal56,

I totally agree with you.

I also realised this during the workshop conducted by one of the Seller, on receiving International payments.

http://forums.ebay.in/thread.jspa?threadID=600001851&tstart=0&mod=1181915935331

Many of my important posts were removed where facts were put forth & senstive legal issues were asked for.

Removing those posts did no good to the site ..... rather discussing those in a professional manner could have helped the Community much more. .

best regards

Hello Friends,
Even my posts were deleted from the workshop,I had posted some serious issues related to the workshop, which should had been address by eBay or anyone appointed by eBay But eBay had deleted the post just giving the exucuse that they are not replated to the workshop.
I will be happy if Sapana will tell me what was not related to the workshop.

I know she will not reply or will try to escape as she also know that it was Unfair to delete post which raise some serious problem which all eBay sellers may face.

Please eBay should never say that its a open community where all can put their views/ideas/Complaints/Suggestions,eBay just want to hear Good about them and not a single Negative point.

The link to the workshop is below:

Agarwalji, you will never find Sapna to be reasonable for she is just a 31/2 foot tall kindergarten teacher who thinks she can boss around anyone anywhere anytime.

Dear shree_krishna_gems & indconcepts,

I believe you are referring to the discussion on FIRC issue. As you are aware the workshop was being conducted by a seller who was sharing his experiences on the thread. The seller was giving answers to the best of his knowledge (he might not necessarily be in the best position to answer your specific question). I believe the workshop host had mentioned the same. โ€œniceshop4u said - Dear Umangjee, I am posting this for the paypal awarness. I think You better talk to your CA, and let me continue this with whom who are new or confused.โ€

Once the workshop host had mentioned that he is not equipped to answer your question, there was no point in the continuing the discussion on the topic. You obviously have the right to start a new thread on the topic. However, continued discussion on the same thread on the same point, was not only distracting for the workshop host, but will also confuse the members who later read the thread. Also, unfortunately, I sensed that some of the posts looked like a need to prove the point instead of a mature discussion.

While I appreciate and respect your opinions on various topics, it also happens that at times our best intentions and opinion might be hampering someone elseโ€™s endeavour. As my role of a group moderator, to the best of my understanding, I did what I believed was best for the discussion. I will continue to do things that I feel will help us promote healthy discussion on the boards. Please allow me to assure you that the intent is to create an environment that can benefit all and certainly not to offend you or to disregard your opinions.

Regards,
Sapana

Dear eBay sellers,

We have seen many sellers had a issue of FIRC , On that point we have taken opinion of mumbai's top most CA Firm Ms.Ramesh shah & co ( Mr.Ramesh shah (C.A), chair person of Bramakumaris).

as per our discussion we do not require any FIRC as soon as we received payment in Indian rupee .

If we received payment in Foreign currency then only we need FIRC, so seller do not worry about FIRC .

we have also drafted letter to RBI for same reg clarification , we will let u know the outcome of same soon.

We request all international sellers please consult there CA for same Reg clarification of FIRC.

We also requesting all international sellers please keep there accounts clear as you may any time face FEMA inspection, as FEMA is strictly inspecting all Exports (gift or trade ) , so all seller must use IEC for international trade.

We hope our post will help seller seeking help on FIRC.
