Courier delivery boy does not allow to open package on delivery

The courier delivery boy never allows to open the package ordered from ebay in front of him. How would one come to know that the content of the package is in good condition?

Ya it is a genuine problem...I had a bad experience of getting fake item. The couriers never allow to open the packages ordered without signing the receipt. How would one come to know that the content of a package is in good condition or genuine or not? Ebay should thoroughly inspect the contact details of the sellers by police verification.
