Buyers are mischarged in shipping from eBay!

Hi,

This issue which I am facing from a long period (approx 2 years) and eBay hasn't resolved the issue.

When I list the product, I select my location through Pincode as 560079 (Basaveshwaranagar, Bangalore) which is in core of the Bangalore City.

But in my listings, It shows as "UTTARAHALLI, KARNATAKA, India" which is quite far and it belongs Bangalore Rural.

Users from Bangalore who make the order is getting charged National Courier shipping charges instead of Local shipping charges.

Please check pin code search with India Post (http://www.indiapost.gov.in).

Recently I received a Neutral Feedback with the comment: "Bill sent with item says item is from b'lore & 65Rs charged 2 send it 2 b'lore"

Though I have refunded the extra amount to the buyer through cheque.

Why should I suffer with Neutral feedback and The Bad DSR Ratings because of this eBay technical issue?

My Percentage went from 99.3 to 99.2, I really felt bad with no mistake of mine.

Also I have lost many deals as local buyers don't order once its shows National Shipping charges for them.

This is not the 1 in 100 case, Its 70 in 100 case.

Please resolve this issue as soon as possible. ---------------

Such issues should be dealt with priority!

eBay is working hard to get the best payment process (paisapay) for buyers, best protection for them, best experience for them (feedback) .. but what needs to be done to make the core buying process efficient is lacking, and a part of this is to support the requirements of old and dedicated Powersellers!!

ONLY SOLUTION OF THIS ISSUE IS TO OFFER FREE SHIPPING ALL OVER THE INDIA.
I AM A SOFTWARE PROFESSIONAL, AND IT IS VERY VERY DIFFICULT TO PREPARE SUCH SOFTWARE.
OTHERWISE YOU MAY DO ONE THING:
IN DESCRIPTION MENTION PIN CODES FOR WHERE SHIPPING IS FREE. REQUEST BUYERS NOT TO CHECK OUT IMMEDIATELY, AND SEND THEM INVOICE WITH LESS SHIPPING CHARGES

Hi Navaneeth,

We are aware about this issue and it is happening for you for the second time in this month. We are working on product fix but it will take some more time. As indiashine rightly suggested, please go for FREE Shipping All India. I had seen you keep very reasonable shipping charges and it will be relatively easier for you to offer all inclusive prices. We observed many sellers are moving towards FREE shipping All India which will also help you in improving your DSR score for shipping & handling charges.
