I note some recent changes on ebay fees and specially the best match default option to search engine.I would like to know what is the reason we are not visible in front pages in search engine? What is the reason from the below mentioned points :-
1) Kindly inform how it benefits to us? We have highest no. of listing on our furniture category but still we are visible in last pages? So should we removed half of our our listings specially the repeat listings? Is repeat listing making us visible in last pages?
2) With 'Best match' option we note that seller DSR rating also is key for getting on the Top pages of search engine.
Since we are delivering goods by Road cargo which has transit time from 5 to 15 days depending on the city of delivery hence 'time extension' becomes compulsory coz by default delivery time is only 10 days.Hence most of the time we end up receiving LOW DSR rating in 'Shipping time' Category.

Is there anyway that the shipping time DSR can be exempted for considering the search engine ranking?As there is no way we can reduce the transit time nor we can keep on explaining each buyer before they leave feedback about this as most of the buyers on ebay are used to courier deliveries reaching them in 1-3 days hence for them shipping time will be always unacceptable.
We also are not understanding the DSR formula as it takes the Count 4 also as a landmark so basically if we sell more we have more change of passing the Count 4 so we are penalized by low search visibility for selling more?
3) Just for an example the keyword ' dining set ' brings us in last pages irrespective of our 100% feedback, irrespective of our highest feedback in our furniture category, irrespective of the maximum listing in dining set category (without repeat listing).
We can clearly see that even the shop GTC listings with ending time 15 days or 20 days remaining are coming ahead of us while our listing ending time is 1 or 2 days only.
This would encourage us not only to reduce our listings but also list more in GTC 30 days listings as now the Default search engine will only show 'Best Match' at the top hence Ending soon listing will have no worth, then why pay for 1,3,5,7 days listings?
4) We have no issues with 'Best Match' if the DSR system is improved as we cannot reduce the Shipping time for Road cargo and we cannot send heavy furniture by Air courier.
If DSR system is considered only for Item as described, Communication & shipping charges than it seems more likely to have better response as all these 3 things are in sellers control but certainly not Shipping time.
