Been 2 months and did not receive the Monsoon offer gift

I have been a buyer/seller on ebay right from Baazee days (2005) and I have never seen such inefficiency from Ebay.

I purchased an item (Refer Paisapay id.25358715076) and chose to receive an Airtel DTH connection as a monsoon offer gift. I got a call from 2 representatives in the beginning of this month and both of them gave me a customer id.(3002377159)

So I called up Airtel to schedule installation, now what happened is they gave me a shock stating that this customer id has already been allotted to someone else.

I called Airtel customer care 5 times in a week thinking it would have been a mistake. But all the representatives gave me the same answer that the customer id given to me is already being used by somebody

It has been more than 2 months and more than 10 calls to ebay customer care and each time the EBAY customer representatives say they will escalate this and that to this team and that team and now I do not know about my future buying/selling on ebay.

I also dont know if I will receive my SO-CALLED gift.

Why doesnt ebay realise the value of a customer? Why is the customer care of EBAY so inefficient that they cannot even understand what I speak in English?

I am going to blog this whole thing down and make everyone realise the truth about EBAY if I don't get my gift as soon as possible.

Sapana/Indraneel I suggest you to intervene and do the needful for me please!

Request you to let some EFFICIENT CUSTOMER CARE REP and not some rookie to kindly call me with regard to resolving this issue.

Atleast now I am satisfied seeing that eBay India is making fool of other people also by promising that they will send gifts and people are being making fools for making payments because of free gifts. Its been almost 4 months that I was suppose to receive the Diwali Free DVD player and nothing happened. Ebay India as usual escalate the matter. I have stopped counting the calls made to eBay after 200, hence I have no hopes whatsoever to receive the gift. Only last week I received a email from a gentleman called Siju giving Courier name and AWB number and when I called the guys they told they have delivered the DVD player to me????? WOW so now either there is a clone of me or they have given the gift to a ghost OR WHICH MOST PROBABLE KEPT THE GIFT FOR THEMSELVES!!!! I am an powerseller on eBAY and never excepted this customer service from EBAY India using the courier which I haven't even heard off. The charges of Paisa Pay and Ebay India is not less and one of the highest, however they do not care about. I am seriously thinking to move my business from eBay India to another portal as the service is pathetic.

New way of cheating by EBAY!!

One representative calls me and gives me a customer id and schedules installation on Sunday and till now I DIDNT RECEIVE ANY CALL FOR INSTALLATION

Well, I have been waiting for over 4 months for my Diwali assured gifts. I have bought a samsung netbook worth 18000 and a canon sx 20is camera worth 23000. 2 months ago, someone had called and told that they are dispatching my gifts...I think my cry should be the loudest!

Still not received my Gift..

The biggest mistake I did was to recharge my customer id given to me by Ebay with 200Rs..

Now I didnt get my Diwali 2009 gift as well as lost 200 bucks...

I am slowly losing confidence on EBAY.

I have similar experience with ebay. They cheat people. I have not received my diwali gift even after several calls to customer care. It was my first purchase in ebay and was very satisfied with the seller's service. I thought I would now shop on ebay regularly. But after having this exp. no more shoppig on ebay. I work as an engineer in another eretail website from india. I would make sure my customers don't get treated this way. EBAY IS A BIG FRAUD. I am thinking of going to consumer forum against it. Guys can't we form a group and register this cheating with consumer forum?

Well please tell me how you are going to deal with this in consumer court, will the proof we have be enough? What will be the compensation to us?
