Been 2 months and did not receive the Monsoon offer gift

I have been a buyer/seller on ebay right from Baazee days (2005) and I have never seen such inefficiency from Ebay.

I purchased an item (Refer Paisapay id.25358715076) and chose to receive an Airtel DTH connection as a monsoon offer gift. I got a call from 2 representatives in the beginning of this month and both of them gave me a customer id.(3002377159)

So I called up Airtel to schedule installation, now what happened is they gave me a shock stating that this customer id has already been allotted to someone else.

I called Airtel customer care 5 times in a week thinking it would have been a mistake. But all the representatives gave me the same answer that the customer id given to me is already being used by somebody

It has been more than 2 months and more than 10 calls to ebay customer care and each time the EBAY customer representatives say they will escalate this and that to this team and that team and now I do not know about my future buying/selling on ebay.

I also dont know if I will receive my SO-CALLED gift.

Why doesnt ebay realise the value of a customer? Why is the customer care of EBAY so inefficient that they cannot even understand what I speak in English?

I am going to blog this whole thing down and make everyone realise the truth about EBAY if I don't get my gift as soon as possible.

Sapana/Indraneel I suggest you to intervene and do the needful for me please!

Request you to let some EFFICIENT CUSTOMER CARE REP and not some rookie to kindly call me with regard to resolving this issue.

Ebay is a big fraud. they promised free diwali gift and never sent. paisapay id 25408821644

They still didnt ship it and i called them more than 1000 times but they ask to wait for 2 days and again i call they say we have escalated plz wait for 2 more days.

eBay is a great company. With your limited experience on eBay your statement only speaks about your limited understanding for the company irrespective of the number of years you are associated with it.

If your friend gives your birthday gift 2 months after your birthday, do you call your friend FRAUD?

What is the sense in making such immatured statements, my friends? Don't you all understand it was a gift??

With some years of association with eBay you are now taking this undue liberty?

(My remark: If you are in our shoes you will know the pain of not receiving something after waiting for around 6 months. Well I dont know about you, maybe you dont car about the value of money, but I purchase from ebay to get free gifts and see the value for my money. Also FYI I have other places where I can get things cheaper than ebay.)

I am really surprised to see your understanding of Ebay and doing business. I guess you would agree that promises to a customer should be kept at any cost. It shows your commitment towards your buyers in meeting all big fancy claim of your service.

I made my first purchase on Ebay not because of a free gift but due to some really good offers given by the sellers. But the service of Ebay has now made me feel that I should not come back to it. Now I am apprehensive of any help from eEay management even in case of any fraud seller. First impression is a big thing for any customer.

You replied to my own thread about such regular fraud by EBAY. Do you really believe that shouting in capital letters like Suresh should be the only way to get the promised gift? I can not even do that because my feedback score is only 1. I have a limitation of 10 posts till I get a feedback score of 10. And I don’t have any intention to increase my feedback score by purchasing more from Ebay. Can you suggest me some other good way to get my gift?

I think Suresh should not be thankful to EBAY for any reason. After getting a promised gift after 4 months and harassment for innumerable number of times he should consider himself a lucky fellow to get the kind attention of this fraud company’s management.

Ebay should immediately apologize to Suresh and many such customers for their poorest service.

Ebay is nothing but a big FRAUD.

I can understand what you might be feeling for not receiving your free gift till now. I don't know about others, but in my case I received my Valentine gift (Trek 4GB pen drive and with good packing) on 27th Feb. Maybe you are one of the unlucky ones to still wait for the same.

@real.phoenix: if you read the comments by mr.suresh, he is indulging in everything that would get him banned from a half-decent forum...inspite of being a senior member, his posts in this thread are akin to spam, flaming and bumping the thread...anything anyone says pro-ebay is just going to be one more reason to keep the thread active...i don't think he needs our help in doing that anyway!!

i wonder where the ebay forum moderators are??
