People, U can be sure about one thing - Baazeee was and NEVER is the scam, EBAY is. These firangees are going to throw us light years behind....

If sites other than ebaY have what the buyers want, that is where the buyers will go.
Petitions, one day "strikes", boycotts etc are all useless and foolish. They have no impact on ebaY and do nothing to expand the industry. So far they have all failed, and done nothing but reinforce ebaY's arrogance. ebaY will sit back and let the sellers moan and groan about the increase, maybe even make some small concessions, and then go about their business, confident that the sellers will NOT act to change the industry. ebaY will continue to raise fees as long as the sellers knuckle under and pay the fees. What will change the industry, is sellers selling on what we at TAG call VOTE sites (venues other than ebaY).

Sellers and buyers on Baazee, do you know how serious this is going to be? To u andme, the common people who want to buy things on the internet. Te poor bazee staff dont even know this, we're sure.

I dont think that Baazee staff are that dumb. Just look at it this way. Before it became eBayzee, these same folks were intercating in the Cafe with everyone for just about every post.You just had to say something and bingo! someone was there indignantly supporing Baazee.The banter between the staff and the posters was enjoyable.

Today, just no one cares. A sign of discontent among eBayzee staff ? Just try talking to someone at Mumbai CCand you will find the unhappiness running in their voices. That's why they sound arrogant, irritated or whatever.. It's the frustration showing.

Baazee was defenitley a better place till eBay took over. Probably Avinish is not to be blamed (like I've mentioned in my other post); even he would not imagined this self-destruction of Baazee. eBay, sadly is a very money-minded company and care two hoots about the Community. Just see the difference - there were no Nigerian smammers about 6 months back on Baazee. Today, they have come here along with eBay. The 419 forums across the Net have opened separate Categories for eBay frauds. This is not techology, just indiffernce by eBay.



eBay is yet to understand that things are different here in India. Indians will experience Broadband soon and the e-com market will boom. And eBayzee will miserably fail b'cos it will lack the warmth and PR that is very much needed in an Indian situation. The amount of once Baazee-loyal Sellers (who stood behind Baazee in the MMS issue) who have migrated to sites like Rediff, Sify and other malls. Some like me have set up own malls (hey, my income last month from my store is phenomenal compared to what I was making on Baazee). By the time, the Indians in another 1 year hit the online stores in earnest, eBayzee will just be another online store. But like you have said, would they bother ?

I'm interested in TAG? What is it all about ?

And btw, my lsiting as of now in eBayzee is zero.
