Announcing launch of all new PaisaPay!

We are pleased to announce that starting the week of 3rd December 2007 we will be launching several enhancements to PaisaPay. These enhancements are aimed at making transacting on eBay even more safe, fun and providing our buyers with a delightful experience. New PaisaPay will provide a mechanism for the buyers and sellers to complete their PaisaPay transactions with ease and help our sellers increase their business on eBay.

The New PaisaPay flow:

Key Highlights:

1. Providing a delightful buyer experience: Buyers will now be able to use PaisaPay for fast, assured purchases or get their money back! In case the buyer does not receive the item purchased with the prescribed timelines, he will have the option to get a quick refund.

2. Uniform performance guidelines for Sellers: In new PaisaPay the sellers will have fixed timelines within which they need to ship and deliver the item. This will help in providing a standardised seller experience where sellers will have clear performance guidelines. In case a seller needs more time to ship or deliver the product, he can request the buyer for a time extension.

3. Easy tracking of shipments for both Buyers & Sellers: Sellers will be required to enter the shipping details in My PaisaPay within the prescribed timelines. This will give buyers and sellers a quick reference point to know the shipment status thereby resulting in smooth communication between buyers & sellers.

4. Easy Refund Mechanism:

a. In case the seller is not able to ship the item: Seller can easily issue a refund to the buyer by not entering the shipping details within the prescribed timelines. In such cases PaisaPay will automatically issue a refund to the buyer. The sellers no longer need to follow the offline process of contacting PaisaPay Customer Support for issuing refund.

b. In case the buyer does not receive the item: If the buyer has not received the item within the prescribed timelines he has the option to raise a refund claim. In case the seller has delivered the item he will have 5 days to dispute the buyer’s claim. In case of any dispute between the buyer and seller on item delivery, PaisaPay’s decision will be final.

5. Seller Remittance on Buyer Confirmation: PaisaPay shall remit the money to the seller as soon as the buyer confirms item receipt or does not raise a refund claim in the prescribed timelines. Certain Qualified sellers will be eligible for Express Remittance.

6. Express Remittance for Qualified sellers: Sellers who qualify for Express Remittance will have their individual Express Remittance limit. Please note that Express Remittance is a privilege for sellers with strong business and good behaviour history on eBay. The option to offer this privilege to sellers will be at the sole discretion of PaisaPay.

7. Online Remittance to replace Demand Drafts: PaisaPay will remit seller’s money online to his bank account instead of mailing demand drafts. This will save both the courier & encashment time for the sellers. It will also mean no more cases of lost demand drafts.

8. Twice a week remittance cycle: PaisaPay will now be sending money to sellers twice a week (bi-weekly basis) replacing the process of weekly remittance.

9. All new My PaisaPay: The new ‘My PaisaPay’ in “My eBay”, will give buyers & sellers an easier interface to communicate with each other and stay updated on transaction details.

10. PaisaPay Phone Support to be extended to all seven days of the week: PaisaPay phone support will be extended to all seven days of the week (from current five days a week) from the month of December 07.

11. PaisaPay becomes mandatory: All listings will automatically offer PaisaPay as a mode of payment. Sellers can also offer other mode of payments. Sellers with 20 or less listings will be able to offer PaisaPay as the only mode of payment. Read FAQ’s.

12. PaisaPay Invoice: To ease the process of reconciliation and accounting your PaisaPay transactions PaisaPay would be issuing a monthly Invoice to sellers.

13. eBay Buyer Protection remains the same: Buyers will continue to remain eligible for eBay Buyer Protection after time-out period. All other buyer protection features will remain the same. Read FAQ’s.

14. PaisaPay EMI Option: Sellers with 5 or more feedback will have the option to offer 3 and 6 month EMI in their listings, which can be availed by buyers paying via ICICI bank credit cards. Additional PaisaPay charges apply fro EMI transactions. Read FAQ’s

To avail the Enhanced PaisaPay facility from the week of December 3, 2007, all sellers will need to register again with PaisaPay and update their bank details here. We encourage you to update your details as soon as possible on this link. Read FAQ’s.

We understand that you might have questions to understand the changes better. Please feel free to read the FAQ’s, go through the details on this page and on the tutorial, contact our Customer Service team or post your questions on this thread.

We are very excited about these changes as we believe that this will help us in providing a high quality online shopping experience to our users and help in making eBay the favoured destination of online shoppers.

Regards,
The eBay Team

Yes, as a member said below,
It is fun to c that the sellers are telling a lot and the ebay member had just one reply. Its fun.

The thing is that, eBay just has some policies and FAQs, they will stick to that and round and round just try to explain it again and again by different ways, but the whole story will be the same.

Sapana, you said that we donot need to arrange for all the PODs, we have to arrange only the PODs which are required for dispute.

I request you to please think like a seller for some time. God knows which buyer creates an unnecessary problem. So as a seller we will have to arrange for all the PODs before hand as the time line given by eBay is very short.

Sellers who are addicted to eBay need not worry, we can become buyers on eBay and earn from eBay with such policies.

Ab announcement to ho gaya hai, enrollment bhi ho jayega.
Jo likha hai woh to hoke rahega
Kitna bhi chilla pukar karlo, koi fayada nahi hoga

Announcing launch of all new PaisaPay!

Hi all,

I am completely agree with cameras_n_such

I am very much happy with the eaby new paisapay rules.

u cant run your business on buyers money, delivery time limitations & auto refund is very good tools.

we are living in competitive world, We need to improve ourselves to survive in the big world .

good businessman always takes challenges , now on online platform we are mature , we need to be professional in our sales.

think from good buyers point,He/She paying you in advance for any product without testing product or without knowing you personally , its big achievement from one side for Us , ebay has given good reputation to us & good goodwill also.

Time line delivery & secure payment will attract more & more buyers to ebay , it will in long term give more & more orders to us , Then why we are apposing the policies.

We are selling on all major portals from last 5 years , the same rules are already on other portals. its very good to have such rules for good buyer experiance.

We are against only for paisapay charges & commission charges its too high in these competitive world.

From now buyer feels more secure for any buying & it will lead to good sales.

good going Ebay.

If paisapay is going to go ahead with the bank transfer method, there would be a head ache in one area.

How can the seller know for which product the amount has being received? One item number might have more than 2 quantities. So the tension would build up more for the seller and it is a very serious matter.

How paisapay is going to transfer the amount into our bank account is a question which is pending to be answered.

Announcing launch of all new PaisaPay!

Hello,

Please note Courier company not always provides with airway bill

As I said before, many times in case of deliveries in remote places there are two or three couriers involved so even when we have airway bill no of the first courier but we may not get the other two.

Please note that Speed post services as per my personal experience is very bad and cannot be trusted. There is no meaning of their Tracking no as most of the times it is not updated or the site is not working. Once they refused volumetric international parcel in GPO because they didn't have such a big cloth bag and no one was there to stitch.

Whichever way you look at it point is very clear that this new system will definitely make sellers life more complicated as most of the payments will be in disputes and as my 6 years experience says never think also in dreams that ebay or paise pay support will come and help you to resolve the issue to clear your disputed payment fast believe me, ebay will always look at buyers point of view even if the buyer is with -5 you will recieve sorry mails from ebay that, we know you are correct but cant help you as per ebay policy.

I think 15% of your total payment will be in hold / dispute / lost forever. Be prepared for the hard times.

Rajesh Parekh

Dear sellers,

as far as we know all the policies made by ebay is good .

1. Time limit for order delivery - Its very good for healthy business , it will give buyer good confidence in buying , so naturally it will lead to better buyer experience,( Excluding Customized order )

2. EMI option is also good , it will give more orders ( charges are high )

3. NEFT of paisapay payment is very good .

4. Shipping details in my paisapay is good tools , it will save our time of mailing the shipment details to buyers.

5. Auto refund in case of non delivery, it will save our time when product is out of stock & we have to send refund request to ebay , it will save time.

I hope sellers wont have any trouble with new system .

Only clarification we need is of Auto Refund in case of delay in delivery due to courier fault or any other unavoidable circumstances.

Its our view on new paisapay ,

we have express our views not frustration. like bestofkashmir has done in his post , try to think positively .

Announcing launch of all new PaisaPay!

Hi bestofkashmir,

To your question - INTERNATIONAL Buyers go on vacations often. Who'll confirm receipt when they want parcels to be left at the front door?

If the buyer does not confirm rceipt within the prescribed timlines, PaisaPay will assume that the buyer has received the product and will release the money to you.

There are three scenarios that can happen:
1. Buyer receives the product, confirms delivery

At seller end: Seller Receives the PaisaPay remittance

2. Buyer receives the product and does not conrim delivery

At seller end: Seller receives the money once prescribed timelines are over. PaisaPay assumes that the buyer has received the product.

3. Buyer does not receive the product and raises a refund request

At seller end: PaisaPay will request seller to provide proof of delivery. If the seller is having difficulties in the process, he is encouraged to contact PaisaPay team and they will do their best to help resolve the seller's concern.

I hope the above answers your question. Do feel free to write back for more information.

Regards,
Sapana

P.S: I think the poem was very well written. God father happens to be one of my favourites as well 🙂
