Dear Users,

We have received a lot of feedback to our February 1 changes through the cafe, the interactions you might have had with us through mail, and phone calls. We have been listening closely and trying to understand these issues to come back with the best possible help we can provide to continue assisting you grow your business.

We understand that some of these changes have an impact on the way you have been running your business on Baazee. However these changes are very important and we believe it will help in your business growth over time. The reason why some of these have come into effect is because we are in the process of integrating with the global eBay platform. While most of the changes we have made so far have been on the site look, feel, and some features, we shall, over the next few months, also be making more significant changes to the technology and services.

These, we believe, will benefit our users by providing:
  • Access to a more stable and powerful platform
  • Access to selling tools such as Turbo Lister, Seller Manager, etc, which will make listings and sales management easier than today
  • World class Trust & Safety measures to make the platform even safer for trading
  • Ability to do cross border trade providing more business opportunities for sellers, and more buying options for buyers

As you might realize, integration of two systems is never an easy task. To get the full benefits of these and for reasons of compatibility, it was necessary to make the changes that we have made on the site, starting from December 1.

However we do want to make sure that we are acting on the feedback, wherever possible, for the key concern areas you have pointed out:
  • Reduction of Auto Relist Count to 0
    Sellers will now have to relist their items manually once they end. To make it easier for you to do so, we are making the Bulk Upload Tool FREE for all users from the 1st of February.
  • Inability to pass on PaisaPay Surcharge to Buyers
    As a special promotion for the next 30 days (February 10 to March 10), we shall be charging sellers at the rate of 3 % (down from 4 %) for Credit Card payments.
  • Increase in Some Special Listing Fees
    We shall be running a special promotion for the months of February and March on some of the Special Listing Fees as follows:
    Home Page - Rs. 100 for single quantity (down from Rs. 150); Rs. 150 for multiple quantity (down from Rs. 300)
    Featured Plus - Rs. 50 (down from Rs. 75)
  • Removal of Prompts
    We shall be shortly introducing Attributes in select categories, which will bring in standardization on the site resulting in better buyer experience. We totally appreciate that this will not be a replacement for Prompts, and sellers will have to create multiple listings to display their range of products. We shall also be introducing stores, by which sellers can easily create and display hundreds of listings, with far longer listing durations than presently.
  • Lack of response from Baazee on your feedback
    Our average turn around times (the time we take between receiving your mail and replying to it) is as follows:
    Customer Support - 48 hours
    Seller Support - 48 hours
    PaisaPay Support - 48 hours
    We will of course try and respond to all queries well before this time line.
  • No response on the Cafe Boards
    The Cafe boards are meant to be a platform for our users to interact with and benefit from each other. As a policy, we do not reply to individual queries on the boards. We would request all of you to please use the following link to report your problems to us:

    We shall continue to address issues related to the community at large on the boards.

We are concerned about your business and hence have taken the decision to reduce the pricing on transaction fees for most categories from between 6 - 10 % to 5 %, in addition to the other promotions mentioned above.

We would like to reiterate that we have not stopped listening to our community, and never will. We rely on you to continuously provide us with your inputs on the site and its features. And yes, we read each and every post on the Baazee cafe!

...SO MANY MAILS AND NOT A SINGLE REPLY. I HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT YOU THROUGH ALL THE CHANNELS VIZ. SELLERSUPPORT, BILLING AND OTHERS MANY A TIMES. PLEASE INFORM ME WHETHER YOU ARE IN RECEIPT OF THE PAYMENT OF RS 19.84/- OR NOT. THE CHEQUE NO. 88899 DRAWN ON UTI BANK WAS DEBITED FROM MY ACCOUNT ON 11 JAN 2005, STILL THE BAAZEE ACCOUNT DOESN'T REFLECT THE SAME????
PLEASE EXPLAIN WHOM SHOULD I EXPLAIN MY ISSUE TO!!!

I welcome the changed decission of Baazee. But these decission must be permanent not as Promotional Offer. Otherwise the objection will be arise again. Please don't try to habituate us with these seller killing effects. Its not possible to make business thru Baazee by losing money.

Hope we will get this so called Promotional Offers at least for a year. After that what will happen not necessary to think now.

Bulk Upload Tool is very boring, Auto relist was the best , auto-relist also is good for wholesalers who have less of time and more of inventory, you people think we have lots of time to relist every week also the effort as of now is not proportionate , you are discouraging wholesalers from your site, after introducing stores and attributes should you have disabled auto-relist and prompts.


Reduction in paisapay surcharge is cool and should be made permanent.

About prompts, you should still think about it, leading sites of the world , like amazon, polo, walmart and the leading indian ecommerce sites use prompts as standard means of getting options to them, why do you want to be different in the wrong way ?????? provide prompts along with attributes else atleast apparel sellers will have a hard time...... ๐Ÿ˜ž , the tools like bulk-upload and turbo are not magic , they too take time if our listings will have to increase due to attributes,

You are telling Bulk Upload Tools will be free but Baazee Mail regarding this announcement are telling it is Free for 2 Months only i.e. It is promotional offer for 2 months.
Request pls make your versions identical. As alredy we are facing lot of hassels from Baazee now a days.

Run a one month long promotion where the PaisaPay Credit Card fees for sellers has been reduced to 3 %

Run a special promotion for Special Listings for the months of February
and March, with these rates: etc etc.

happy valentine day,
every thing is o.k. but this every week relist of our product on the site is very painful . i m a shop honer , i dont have time to do this.and i m also not educated in computer field. earlier it was o.k. that auto matic relist what ever is not sold. only due to this problem some time i did not releist my product and its reduce my sale and altimately your sale and complete 20days i was worried about the fact,"put the time 48 hourin advance" when i do relist
my simple suggestion "if u follo?
MAKE A PROCESS IN WHICH SALER OR BUYER HAS TO DO VERY LESS COMPUTER WORK. MAKE ALL THE PROCESS VERY SIMPLE WHICH ARE USED BY SELLR OR BUYER. COZ IN THIS INDIAN DEVLOPING WORLD VERY FEW PEOPLE ARE COMPUTER EDUCATED.TRY TO DO MOST OF THE BUYER OR SELLER WORK BY YOUR SELF

and yes one more thing so many time i pay the money to u for the product which i did not sold after placing the order by buyer. for that i written to u soooo much but all worthless. at last i paid my invoice U DO SOMETHING FOR SCANNING THE PRODUCT WHICH R NOT ACEPTED BY BUYER DUE TO ANY REASON.SO THAT WE DONT HAVE TO PAY SERVICE TAX FOR THAT PRODUCT.

For Sellers Baazee is going to be a tough time as in the case of auto-relist and multiple quantity auctions and the major factor which is of bid increments which is not the sellers right now. And even the paisa pay charges are passed on to the sellers. so its really be a tough time for sellers. even privileged club is also gone ....every thing is going in the FAVOR OF THE BUYER. Do something for the sellers also otherwise there will be very less number of sellers.
