ADVISE TO EBAY

I have read too many complints about buyers and seller being cheated, mostly the buyers.
If the Ebay is a honest organization (which I doubt)they should have a security force which will actually go to the seller and question him, if he indulges in a fradulant sale or cheats the buyer, since the seller IS using Ebay to sell his products they have responsibility to fulfill, and protect the buyer and seller alike.
A penalty should be imposed on such sellers, and their names with details should be posted on the discussion board to protect buyers.
Such sellers should be black listed and never allowed to join Ebay again.

Hi alok1964,
Its disappointing to know about the threatening on personal email. Every company has some satisfied and some dissatisfied customers. I think a better PR policy should be to have the confidence of the dissatisfied ones rather than using threats.

On the suggestions by Dr. Hassan, I think ebay can AT LEAST post the multiple complains against a particular member on a special board & urge the new members to go thru those.
I have seen the warnings of Dr. Hassan about the low quality of gems of deltamarketing_in1. I also have that bitter experience. Now the warning is too old for any new buyer to find it on the board as most of us don't go beyond the first page. Many are complaining the same about deltamarketing_in1. It would have been very useful for all had ebay displayed such specific warnings on a special caution board. Best Regards

i too got a sort of threatening email from seller. Actually the seller sold me pirated software after displaying original game software in genuine package. when I opened a 'not as described' dispute the seller made some very personal remarks against me with eBay customer care. the seller then forwarded me the eBay customer care reply to me. I think ebay sing the same song with buyer and seller. that they are sorry and they are going to do this and that. Yeah , they can suspend my membership and I dont care much. I am not likely to buy anything on eBay again. I have given some time for the seller to replace the thing he gave me. ( I think i wait till that time before I make his name public ) I am willing to let my money go. ( 295/- ) but ebay is likely to answer some questions from people about listing of pirated software on their site. they are clearly making profit from illegal activities too. I thought mine was an isolated case. but now I know better. good luck to all who got swindled on eBay who want to fight these kinds of activities.

am i allowed to say a few things...?? firstly.... is till state that there should be a verification of sellers / buyers physically..... dont the creidt card companies do it..??? dont the mobile companies do it for post paid customers...??? i am willing to volunteer to do a background verification of sellers / buyers in Karnataka State, for a small Fee ofcourse...Nuthing comes free now a days...;-)

as regards goods not being upto the quality..been thru it many times.... even with a 6600 Handset that i purchased...then i was too young to fight this out...as regards black listing nuthicng much can be done..as a person can register with just a change in the address format... certain things cant be changed though... Credut card details etc...that should be made mandatory..or even PAN number or Passport Number..
