E-bay India -- not at all consumer-oriented

On `12th October 2005 I found a seller offering an SD card from Chennai. I opted to buy it ( # 552952649) and paid via my credit card. No delivery of product was effected. I then e-mailed the dealer and he said that in fact by 12th October, e-bay had "de-listed" him !

Now how could e-bay keep his offer on their list EVEN AFTER delisting him ? Who will now give me back my money ? I have again requested the dealer.

For all the fancy 'international" tag that e-bay carries, I am angry that they don't even have a help-line or direct e-mail that one can write to ! The "Disputes Forum" is hogwash. I just wish this was USA and I would then sue them for the mental anguish and harassment that I am facing.

Dear absinroy ,

Some sellers do ship the product around 7-15 days. So please try contact him via phone. Also your payment may be in pending and may need 2-3 days.

After 10 days, if the seller doesn't respond for all your email/phone call, just file a Item Not Received to ebay. You will get the refund from ebay.

You can check the below link for more details:
