Suggestions for Category Changes

Dear Members

We are constantly trying to develop a category structure that makes it easy for buyers to find the items they are looking for. Such changes are made in response to the introduction of new models and technologies, or as the size of a category grows and become difficult to browse.

We are in the process of making category changes and would like to get your inputs for these changes. If you feel a category requires a change, so that your buyers can find your products easily, do post your feedback on this thread.

Hello Seema,

I would like to ask that a new category be created for internet radios. Currently the closest options are:
* Electronics > Home Audio > Radios
* Computers & Networking > Networking & Communications > Wireless Networking > Other

Neither option is really the best fit for internet radios.

We are the 1st Powerseller in the Travel Category and there is absolutely no support from eBay to promote travel listings. There is nil accessibility for travel listings from ebay.in homepage. eBay redirects all traffic for travel to yatra.com This has to change some day. Why dont you create a new category which will provide us traffic from the home page.

Hi,

Kindly display books on home page to promote them. Every shopping site is promoting books on it's home page, except ebay.

You can place a box on home page displaying small images of New Releases and Bestsellers. You will definetely get tremendous response.

I think lenses should be a seperate sub category in the Cameras & optics category.
Lenses are an essential part of a camera or any optical device and shouldn't be clubbed in the accessories subcategory.
I hope you would take my suggestion and make a seperate sub category for lenses.
This sub category can be further divided into

1. Lenses for 35mm cameras(as lenses for digital & analog cameras are most of the time common.)
2. Lenses for other cameras.
3.Lenses for other optical purposes.
