We understand that removal of this feature will cause more work for sellers in the categories that use Prompts regularly, such as Apparel. We would like to inform you of a couple of new features that we shall soon be launching to help you.
a. Introduction of Item Specifics – We are working towards introducing this feature as soon as possible. harryfashion has already very clearly mentioned the differences between Prompts and Attributes. This feature will help sellers to input information specific to their product category, that will help better describe and categorize the item you are selling so buyers can more easily find what they are looking for. This will have 2 benefits:
Buyers can Search for Item Specific Features – A buyer can search, for example, for a size large T – Shirt, or a blue colour shirt, which was not possible earlier, if this information was captured only in the Prompts.
Standardization across all Products within a Category – These item specifics will be unique for each category, and will vary across categories, depending on the list of features that are common across the category. Each seller can input the feature that best describes his item from a list of features for his category. This will mean that all the products in the category will have a standard list of specifics that better describe the item. Buyers will find it easier to browse, search and select the actual item that she wants.
As harryfashion has rightly pointed out, this feature will not be a direct replacement for Prompts, as sellers will still have to create multiple listings.
b. Introduction of better Listing Tools – We shall soon introduce newer and better listing tools to help sellers create and manage multiple listings in a simpler fashion that today. Better still, this tool will be absolutely FREE for all sellers.
Once again, we understand that this change will cause some more work for you till we introduce these new features and we request for your co – operation and support between the time we remove Prompts and introduce these new features.

We understand that you are upset that by incorporating the surcharge into the price of your item, the price of the item will increase for all buyers. We believe, and I am sure you will agree, that PaisaPay is a great option for buyers to buy items. Many buyers actually search for items that offer PaisaPay, and are willing to pay a premium for the convenience of paying through PaisaPay. We would recommend that if you do decide to increase the price of your item, then do so based on the proportion of users who actually use PaisaPay to pay for your item.
For example, if you are selling an item worth Rs. 1,000 with PaisaPay payment method. You know, from your experience, that about 50 % of your buyers pay using PaisaPay. In this case, instead of increasing your item price by 3 % (average of 2 % for Bank Transfer and 4 % for Credit Card), you should increase the price of your item by only 1.5 %. This will make the price of your item Rs. 1002. At the same time, we have reduced the transaction fees for most categories. If you decide to pass on the reduced fees benefits to buyers, then you need not even increase your item price.
We shall also be making a change on the site, by which sellers can decide to offer PaisaPay only for certain items, and not for all items as presently.

Sellers can have similar benefits of the Auto Relist function by using the Schedule Listings function, as well as with bulk upload tools.
Sellers can use the schedule listing function to create multiple listings starting at different dates for up to 21 days in advance. This feature is free for February and March.
We shall also soon be introducing newer and better tools for sellers to easily create multiple listings. The tool will be FREE for all sellers. Using these tools, it will be very easy for a seller to upload multiple items at one instance, eliminating the need to use schedule listings.

Sanjay

We shall not be charging Rs. 0.50 for schedule listings for the next 2 months, either if you use the Sell Form, or the Bulk Upload Tool. Yes, you will have to pay the monthly charges for the Bulk Upload Tool.
In the near future, we shall be introducing a newer bulk upload tool, which will be FREE.
Regards,
Sanjay
