May I still use online dispute services like ODR India, SquareTrade or NetNeutrals to have negative Feedback removed?

eBay will no longer accept Feedback removal requests from ODR India, SquareTrade or NetNeutrals, even when both buyers and sellers agree to have the Feedback removed.

http://www2.ebay.com/aw/in/200805.shtml#2008-05-08130956

We mentioned that we'd be aligning the Mutual Feedback Withdrawal process with the new system. After much consideration, we've made the decision to remove the Mutual Feedback Withdrawal process. The reason is that – under the new rules - it opens sellers up to extortion. As part of this decision, Mutual Agreement from third-party Feedback mediation services, such as ODR India SquareTrade, will also no longer be accepted.

I am truly agree with BRAND.DEAL,

With the old rules suppose if a buyer rates negative and says that hands free is not working then I would prefer to give an extra hands free and get the negative withdrawn mutually. But in the new scenario I will not give anything extra as negative cannot be withdrawn even after satisfying him. So who cares situation will arise

I WILL NOT CARE FOR REFUND OR EXCHANGE FROM NOW, AS PER NEW POLICY. WHY SHOULD I? WHAT BENEFIT I WILL GET IF I WILL GIVE HIM REFUND OR EXCHANGE? BUYER NEVER READ BEFORE BUY.

EVEN THOU I GOT ONE MAIL FROM ANOTHER MEMBER FROM EBAY..... I HAVE JUST INQUIRED ABT PHONES WITH THIS SELLER. HE GAVE ME WRONG ANSWER AND I DID NOT PURCHASE FROM HIM, HE CONTINUES SENDING ME EMAILS FROM DIFF IDS, AND SHOWING ME THAT WHAT HE CAN WITH HEW POLICIES...

Dear niceshop4u,

You want to get band out here.... In me m San Jose and I have Lot of friends work in eBay...

Hi,

I don’t think that necessary. And as per new policy, I can open a new account and sue a negative feedback to you, if you will not purchase from me, the new changes are very effective. I know some friends in India, who can do this for me, so am sporty and give me order. Let me know if you’re serious about this.

Mr. Kemikal
I make a complaint in Ebay.com and eBay. In...... Still they are working..... So now a day I cannot make any enquires as well...

No reply from anywhere, and I suppose to send a legal notice to this seller if any answer I will not get from eBay......

Screwed completely. Sell genuine but reward nothing. Great policy from eBay.....

PINK EBAY PINK.

THANK YOU.

I have a question:

The following was posted:

"We will base the Positive Feedback Percentage on the past 12 months of activity (and include neutral Feedback in the calculation)"

Does this mean for calculation purpose of percentage, a neutral is a good as a negative?

Can someone please clarify on this? If this is the case then yeah certainly we are going to start looking elsewhere for new opportunities.

Afraid what you grasp is correct
Earler too neutral were treated as negatives , But for only the SNP calculations
But now on the total feedback calculation will consider neutrals as negatives

By the way one thing bothering me was that
A lot of sellers not active in last 12 months , all of a sudden will start with 100 percent feedback percentage

Is it ??

Hello,
Why don't eBay remove Neutral Feedback option forever?

It dont make any sense if buyer give Negative or Neutral.

As eBay will now count Neutral feedback as Negative.

BOTH ARE SAME!

So, why to keep neutral rating?

Yaar koi Samjhao mujhe?

Well I think in coming time eBay will no longer be the best online market place as you can what kind of policy are introduced.

BTW there is a huge difference between eBay.com and eBay.in.

A policy which can be appropriate for eBay.com may not be appropriate for eBay.in

I hope all sellers unite for the mutual interest.

What ever we are posting here, do actually it makes difference to the ebay product team, I think so the answer is BIG NO, becoz there is no reply from them at all.

Or maybe they are preparing a new set of cut'n'paste responses

I support shree_krishna_gems idea of removing Neutral all together.

Buyer may think he is leaving Neutral and not Negative without realising it has the same effect.

We suffer in the end. A neutral means not entirely satisfies but not dissatisfied either.

Seriously, has eBay lost it's marbles?

Customer Is Always Right

Friends , As correctly said by Krishna India , These decisions are actually taken at eBay headquarters not at eBay India ,
so there is nothing much we can expect from eBay India SERVANTS which is just a franchise of eBay.com
sellers have already tried to put pressure on eBay by going on strike in March without success .

Now selling is going to be a serious business at eBay and is basically left for proffesionally managed big sellers only .
a large number of small sellers are already kicked out by new Paisapay and eBay's new policies .

So Just sell with your best intentions and hope for the best feedback from buyers .
JAB OKHLI ( eBay) MAIN SIR DIYA HAI TO MOOSLON SE KYA DARNA .....:-) . otherwise just try for sometime with any other OKHLI .

If any sales gets down due to this system it is ultimately going to be a loss to eBay as well ,
so let this worry be left for eBay whose proffesionals might have already considered about these obvious losses .

Keep faith in yourself , sell with pure intentions to provide your best to your buyers and just take whatever your god (Customer) gives in return ....
Because good sellers always believe : Customer Is Always Right .
Enjoy life and leave all the worries for eBay employees ..........

Best of Luck to all fellow sellers ...........

😞

I am too in a state of shock right now hearing all this
policy change , MFW is a must for ebay india to work , most dont even read the description of the products on ebay , forget about them reading your tutorial about leaving feedback , even on slightest issues buyers leave negative feedback which after communication with the buyers is resolved and the feedback removed by MFW . And now if the buyer agrees that he wants to remove the feedback there will not be any method to do so .

I read below that only professional sellers will be able to survive , forget about that no seller will be able to survive with this policy .

Nitin
