I have been selling for sometime now, but today i received my first Item Not Received dispute from a buyer.
Its a datacable and the value is just Rs 129/-
On investigating with our courier, I found that all parcels dispatched on the 8th were accidentally forwarded to their Madras facility and are now being forwarded from there to all buyers. And what makes it worse is that I realized it only the 14th. Now there has been a delay of 10 days.
Although the parcel will reach latest by Monday. Any suggestions, how to tackle the situation?
As of now:
1. Total affected buyers 3.
2. Complaint received from 2 buyers.
3. Dispute opened by 1.
4. All buyers communicated about the incident.

You go on keeping in touch with buyers and persuade the one buyer particularly to close dispute.129 is not big amount. But money is money.
Disputes are bad fo both seller and buyer.
If this culiminates further, there are other avenues open to you.Keep your cool.
Thanx,
Truly,
Amitava

In case the Auto Refund has been initiated by the system then you may ask your Courier Company not to deliver the Goods.
Or you may let the Item be delivered as it is of low value .... and then ask the Buyer you pay you again.
In case .... if the Buyer leaves a negative for you .... you have the Option of going to ODR which is FREE for all PP transactions. .
best regards

Thx every1
Actually none of the buyers opted for a Auto-Refund.
But the dispute is opened. Product shall be delivered today.
I am still typing an apology letter with explanation and sending it to the affected buyers with a small gift.
wht say?

Call or SMS the buyer about the delivery delay and explain him that this delay is not from your side.
The idea of sending a gift for the buyer is good and will work out. Do inform the buyer that you will be sending a gift also, this will help the buyer keep cool and will take you as a gentlemen.

I am not negative but i believes that best thing is to close selling on Ebay.
One of My buyer was on travelling and he forget to enter delivery confirmation details!!!
What if a buyer deliberately not confirm the delivery ?
Seller will be on mercy ???

I've reviewed our records and see that your eBay account has been
temporarily limited due to issues with your PayPal account(s).
If you'd like to appeal your limits, the first step requires that you
resolve any outstanding issues that you have with PayPal.
what is the connection of ebay india to paypal.& my account is completely clear with no outstanding payments.how i can resolve this issue.pls help me & let me know about this? praveen jaiswal
