We strongly agree to it. And how a Seller gets restrictions on their accounts after receiving negatives/neutrals, Buyers accounts should also get effected.

Equal rights and equal benefits.

i agree with lotmany, seller should get equal right on every stage of transaction, but sellers are not getting it, once they receive the order the hearbeat of the seller star, to arrange the product as early as possible and ship it, after shipping it also he has to look that whether it is delivered to the customer or not.... as there are always chance to get negative feedback in any reason like product reached very late....very slow delivery.... something like that.... after delivering the product also he has to confirm from buyer that is there any problem with the product or not?.... as anytime buyer can give negative feedback by saying it's not working if it is with company warranty also.... in this case what seller will do.... he just need to put wait and see that he gets, positive feedback not negative for any reason..... so it's really horrible to sell any item on ebay now as you are always standing on one foot...... when you will fall down you will also not know..... ebay says that they need 100% customer satisfraction so we want to tell them that why they are not comming up in 100% seller satisfraction.....if seller will be there then buyer will come to your site, otherwise from whom buyer will buy the product.

This policy of seller not able to leave a negative feedback to buyer was not there earlier. We are a seller from the time when there was no ebay in India. Ebay was bazee.com. Bazee was taken over by ebay. Right from the begining the seller and buyer both could leave negative feedback for each other. As a result every serious buyer would get the problem rectified by the seller rather than leave a negative feedback.

Now with the seller not able to leave negative feedback to buyer, the seller is always with his back to the wall. The buyer leaves a negative feedback with impunity at the slightest pretex. Some of the reasons given by the buyer are outright outrageous,absurd, silly and more importantly wilful.

Introduction of this policy of ebay is a terrible mistake and one day ebay will realize it. The question is when and whether it will be too late. Today there are various other portals similar to ebay coming up. In a matter of a few years they will big brands. These portals are asking every big seller on ebay to list in their portals. We have also been approached by every one of them.

Today every seller on ebay is antagonized and resentful, but they have no choice as at this moment there is no competition to ebay. This situation will not last forever. It does not take a lot of brain-storming to understand sellers should be kept happy. It is the seller who invest money and time to become a serious seller on ebay. Any one can be a buyer but very few can become a serious seller.

We will list below the various tools in a buyers hand working against the seller:
1. Feedback
2. Item not as described dispute.
3. Ebay guarantee policy.
4. Refund policy.

What tool does a seller have..... NOTHING.

Wake up ebay policy makers. Wake up before it is too late. You are leaving no choice for the sellers but to look elsewhere.

We sincerly hope this note is taken in the right spirit and understanding and steps taken to balance the system.
