Items stopped from relisting due to feedback violations

Hi Everyone,

We have been selling on ebay.in (nee baazee.com & bidorbuyindia.com) since 2000.

We have always strived to give our best to all our customers & our ratings are showing the commitment to our buyers.

We take utmost care in keeping all our buyer happy so as to ensure no unfaourable feedback is placed against our record.

In the last 9 years, we must have recd at the most 2-3 bad ratings till last year, when we received 2 feedbacks for something beyond our control.

All our products are brand new sealed packed with VAT Paid Bill & Manufacturer warranty.

Our Telephone nos are always available & most emails are answered within 12 hours.


Last month between 23rd Jan to 30th Jan.,2009,a set of new different buyers bought many low value products like MicroSD cards, USB Pen Drives upto Rs.600 approx & a mobile worth approx Rs.3600.

The items were shipped instantly as is our procedure & recd by the buyers.

This month all of sudden, we have been receiving bad feedbacks from these new buyers.

He called us on 21st Feb.,2008 & asked why we had sent a 4GB MicroSD card to him even though he was not aware having paid for it.

He then sent us the payment by Cheque, previous packaging & our Bill back to us.

The Mobile/Tel. Nos. are wrong & Buyers are not replying to emails.

Looks like some Seller trying to spoil our reputation & standing on ebay.

We think this was a well laid conspiracy by a seller who is jealous of our standing in ebay.

The last 15-20 days have been a real low for us & b'cos of these feedbacks, listing restrictions have come into play.

We hope & pray no other seller goes through what is happening to us right now.

Dont worry.we all are with you and vote for you as from your old feed backs seems you are a reputed seller.To maintain good feed backs till last month is enough to judge your reputation.we can understand your feelings and fructuation in this matter.But this is temporary issue.Hope eBay will do the nessessary thing to remove those negative feed backs at the earliest.
As u suspect it seems somebody behind this to ruin your reputation..Also there should be some restriction in posting negative feed backs by the new buyers expicially even without paying for the item which he purchased.

Yes surely someone is behind this. I have complied this list and it is clear that this is done purposely.

All first time buyers, all buying their first item from you, all buying branded products and all having to claim warranty from service center, all providing wrong tele nos.
....Kya aapko kisi par shaque hai ??
Report the matter to CC/Account Manager and it will be solved, I am sure of it....eBay will sort it out

Hi friends,

Just an update, that our listings are live again thanx to eBay managers esp. Rajsekharan & Zubin Bharucha.

The first 2 negatives have already gone into Community court & results are expected soon.

Thanx to everyone who has stood besides us in this difficult period.

I fully support Mr.Kartik of J.J.Mehta regarding feedback procedure amendment.

This kind of feedback fraud can happen to any Power Seller.

And as ebay sees only past month's record, the Power Seller can be suspended or even deregistered due to this.

Do keep writing in to let me know how fellow Sellers feel about this.

Hi Ashok,

Happy to hear that you now got a bit of relief (though not completely) through your Account Managers. Infact, Zubin, my Account Manager is indeed very powerful in his job. He is the one who helps me in all my nightmare.

With regard to the proposed feedback system, the current trend of sellers leaving feedback to the buyers prohibits the introduction of it. That is, most of the sellers leave feedback only after receiving the same from the buyer's side. Honestly speaking, even me. If this is the case then practically it is not possible to expect some early feedback on the buyer's profile without giving them the ability to leave the feedback.

But again, cases like this may happen anytime to anyone without notice. So something practical should be done to eradicate it.

Finally,Justice has prevailed.......

All the unfavourable feedback has been removed by eBay & our faith in the system has been renewed & restored.

We take this oppurtunity to thank all our fellow Sellers who have been standing besides us through this ordeal.

We would also like to thank eBay personnel esp. Rajsekharan, Zubin,Indraneel & all for supporting us in our endeavour.

We urge all to never back down to this kind of blackmail regarding negative feedback.

Always approach your category managers regarding your problems so that they can be resolved asap.
