Dear acetb2010,
Your item is visible in the search results. Depending on how many new items are being listed, it takes between 2 and 6 hours for these items to appear in the Category and Browse pages.
This is because when an item is listed, it has to be placed into our search system via a process called 'indexing'.
To update our search system, an indexing has to occur - indexing is the process which places all the newly listed items onto eBay.
You can check the time indexing last occurred by clicking on a category, and at the bottom of the item list you will see, "Updated: 11-Jan-02 23:09:09 IST" (of course the time will change). If the update took place before you listed your item, you will know your listing will not yet be showing in the Category or Browse pages.
You can also automatically locate where your item is within the category pages. Just follow these steps:
* Click on Site Map at the top of any eBay page
* Under the Selling Activities heading, click on 'Where Is My Item?'.
* Enter your item number, and you'll be shown exactly where your item appears within the category pages.
Alternatively, you can go directly to the 'Where is an item' page by clicking the following link:

In case you're not aware, your 'My eBay' page is a great way to keep track of your current and recent activity on eBay. You can access the My eBay page by clicking on the words 'My eBay' located at the top of most eBay pages. You can also access 'My eBay' this way:
1. Click on Site Map in the Navigation Bar located at the top of most eBay pages.
2. Click the 'My eBay' link located in the middle column. You may be asked to sign in.
3. Complete the information, including the options you want to see, and click enter.
