Unfair Refund Request PaisaPay ID 30347094781

This is regarding a Refund Request posted by the buyer for PaisaPay ID 30347094781.

The buyer has received the product on 17th December whereas the Paisapay delivery deadline was 20th December. And still he opens a case saying item not received within deadline. So, I tried to call him but it seems he has the wrong number. For the past 3 days, I'm trying to call him but the phone is not working.

So, I decide to contact eBay to resolve this issue. The eBay guy tells me to provide POD.

DTDC charges Rs. 10 for providing POD. We get a margin of 20% on the product which was sold. Out of which, eBay takes 12.5% as eBay charges and Paisapay charges. Add to that packaging costs, ebay shop fees and listing fees. If we add POD charges to this, we will be left with nothing. Even roadside beggars will get more than what we will get out of the transaction.

I provided enough proof regarding the delivery. DTDC's online tracking says Item is Delivered on 17th December, DTDC Lucknow branch confirms item is delivered on 17th, even DTDC's customer care confirmed the same. And yet that is not enough. According to eBay, everyone is lying except the buyer. This is a buyer who hasn't even provided a correct phone number where I can call him to resolve the issue with him. eBay can trust this guy but they won't trust a seller who has 100% feedback. I can understand if you refund the buyer incase the item was delivered late but that was not the case. The item was delivered 3 days before the Paisapay Deadline.

What is the point of having Buyer Protection, Seller Protection, if you guys can't use your common sense to resolve issues? I guess Paisapay timelines are in place only for sellers and not for eBay themselves.

Look at the cases where you haven't delivered gifts for three months

Please clarify if you are going to send 2 gifts to all these users for the delay caused. Are you going to take a loss by providing them additional compensation? If no, then how can you put genuine sellers through this torture. We have to suffer even when the items are delivered within timelines but you guys can get away with it even if you deliver 3 months late.

This is your quoted message you posted on eBay's forum

"Dear nitrotribe.in,

The timelines have been revised after taking these scenarios into consideration.

To provide some context on Shipment Basis traceable shipments done by our Sellers (through various shipment companies from Blue dart to Speed post) in last couple of months, we have observed that ~96% of the Shipments gets delivered within 6 days of shipping the item, while ~2% of the shipments are delivered post 10 days. This information (Shipment pick up date & Delivery dates) was collated manually directly from the Shipment company’s website (basis the tracking information updated by the Seller).

Having said that, I do completely agree that Sellers do not control shipment delivery and there would be instances where Buyer raises a INR in PaisaPay post delivery timelines is over, but be rest assured that even in such cases, our PaisaPay team will work with you and the buyer to resolve the claim and ensure resolution amicable to both you & the buyer.

Regards
Seema "

If you guys have based your analysis of 6 days on online tracking of courier companies then why can't you accept the same instead of POD? Also, above you have mentioned that the PaisaPay team will work us to resolve it but I don't see any attempts made by your team. Instead I had to contact them and then bluntly told me they will stop the refund only if I provide POD. Is this your resolution? Why don't you provide the refund from your coffins if you are so sure of the delivery timelines?

Please carry out a survey about how many sellers take PODs from courier companies. I'm sure there are many who don't take PODs because its expensive. It means we are like sitting ducks waiting to be shot by the buyers.

I hope you can offer me a fair solution instead of flaunting your Buyer Protection rules.
