Is TIN or CST necessary for us?

Hi All,

I want to sell items like hard disk , pen drives, etc.
Is TIN or CST necessary for the sellers to sell those kinda items?

watever the item u sell, u don't need anything to sell on eBay.

Hi mpadhu,

TIN is required. But you can start your business without a TIN. Once your turnover exceeds INR 10 Lacs Per Annum, then it is mandatory to have a TIN.

To get a TIN, you will have to spend around 50K.
