Importing from USA, India customs regulations

Hi,

I ordered two small shipments from USA, the 1st box of 30 items got through India customs within 10 days, but the 2nd box of 150 items seems to be there for almost a month.

Anyone know the rules on this stuff?

Do I need a licence for such a big amount of items?
The box value is less than $250.

I want to purchase a watch from ebay.com (US Site) and wondering if there is any customs duty which I may have to pay on the shipped item. There is already a 29.9 USD shipping charge, which makes the total cost to 80 USD approx. (49$ for watch nad 30$ for shipping). If I will have to pay any customs duty, how much will it be ?

Hi, i am thinking of buying a laptop from US site.. i wanted to know if the shipping charges include customs or nt..? the price of laptop is 800$ n shipping costs are 113$,so does this include customs?

I purchased clothes from UK shipped via royal mail worth less than 15 GBP each, 4 times. I am getting charged by customs 2nd packet on-wards.
what should I do to avoid this?
order less frequently?
please help.

But Mobile will be charged with a custom duty of 2.5%.
