I received the following mail from ebay customer support.
First of all, my ebay account has never been suspended ( do not know if they are thinking about suspending my account due to my complains on the board ).
As per the reply I have received from ebay, it seems that I am the only one seller in India who is charged with NEFT by his bank.
Just go thru the mails to know how ignorant some ebay peoples have become regarding these discussion boards. No body knows that so many sellers are complaining here about NEFT charges.

when you received amount transferred to your account through NEFT. As
per you the rate is around 25% to 28%. Further I notice in your mail
your concerns on our process, policies and managers role but it is
difficult to understand what exactly are you trying to convery by this,
because online remittance is done to hundreds of sellers which includes
me too and none of the sellers gets charged with the NEFT remittance
fee. So if you are getting a charge on getting money transferred through
NEFT which is free of cost - the problem is at your bank's end and you
should resolve with them. I would request you to re check this because
it seems to be highly impossible that a bank will charge you fee for
receiving your own money and that too at this high rate of 25%. So, I am
sure this will clarify that our policies and our managers comments here
wont make any differences to policies at your bank's end.
Also, I have noticed that you have an account with ICICI bank, so just
sharing my personal experience that I also bank with ICICI - Mumbai
branch and I am not charge with any such fees. I would request you to
get this checked with your branch and please feel free to contact us if
you have any issues.

Its a pity to note the dictatorial and illogical attitude of ebay where
the sellers do not have the option even to delay the receipt of payment
when he / she is supposed to pay the NEFT charges for the bank transfer.
In next cycle my due amount may be as low as a hundred Rupees and I have
to pay more than 28/- of NEFT charges for your un called for early fund
transfer. What will your managers say if they have to shell out 25% of
there salary for something they do not want (infact its almost the
entire profit from the sale). Is there any logic behind such impractical
change of rules when you are able to hold the same payment for more than
a month for international transactions ? In India its impractical to
think that RBI will issue any guidelines for such small transactions.
So, may GOD help us or we have to find some other solution to sell
because ebay seems to be thinking only about the big sellers now. Your
founder Pierre's theory that every body can contribute something seems
to have been lost from the memory of your managers. Please convey to
your managers that I understand that its a duty of every person to
increase the profit of the organisation they work for but that does not
mean that to achieve that goal its prudent to make that organisation
irresponsible to its customers.
Lastly, just want to mention that I was a regular seller in ebay India
before the introduction of the listing fees. After that I used to sell
only internationally. Only this month I wanted to sell again in ebay
India but it seems you want to get rid of such small sellers like us.
Hence, from next month I have to stop again. I know your managers do not
bother about such small sellers like us but someday they may find that
once upon a time ebay gained its popularity only due to these small
sellers whose motto was not to cheat the buyers.

Please DO NOT send my PaisaPay payment now because I am awaiting some
more payments shortly hence, do not want to waste money on NEFT charges
of Bank for your early transfer.
As per your notice, PaisaPay payments for International deliveries can
be hold by ebay India for 36 days (10 days for despatch + 21 days for
delivery , though its too short + 5 days for confirmation). So I do not
see any reason why you will not be able to hold my payment for similar
period or at least one month and send me only 1 transfer every month
with all transactions combined. This will save unnecessary NEFT Bank
charges of both ebay and mine.
Please co-operate. Hope you still care about your members and are not
stubborn on your decisions.
