Buyers with APO / FPO Addresses

and one more thing. Nowadays many new buyers with APO/FPO addresses are making fool of eBay India and mainly the sellers of ebay India.

They can do anything.

-: They can add or may not add shipping charges while making the payment even if the item has flat rate shipping cost.

-: Unpaid item increases. Because seller unable to send information to them as only international shipping option are displayed because of their APO / FPO address.

-: and if they made payment, then after getting the item they certainly leave negative for sellers. due to which your account may be suspended.

-: It takes about 15 days to remove feedback through community court but till then your account may be suspended by eBay for 30 days as " seller non performance"

-: In other eBay sites sellers also writing in description " NO SHIPMENT TO APO/FPO ADDRESSES. PLZ EXCUSE US"


eBay , please do something in this matter.at least the neutral feedback should be allowed to leave for these kind of buyers.


i think some other sellers are also facing this issue.

is eBay india doing something in this matter.

Even we are facing this issue. We have currently all UPI's because of APO/FPO addresses.

buyers are not allowed to make payment of this address whereelse this addresses are mostly servicable easily.

I am also facing the same issues.
Some buyers make payment normally as per listing but
sometimes buyer makes payment without ship[ping charges and some times buyer adds Re. 1 as shipping charges.even the shipping charges of flat rate.

I also agree that these buyer's address mostly from AP.

eBay should take this matter on priority basis.

Hello,

There seems a bug in the system.
We got quite a few orders with APO/FPO in the last few months.

We realized that shipping was free in all of them.

We escalated the matter to ebay and no reply came.
So we stopped shipping these orders.

There is some way to get free shipping, ebay needs to correct it.

We found some were from very similar addresses , so its some guy playing ricks from Hyderabad.

We have posted this alert earlier on ebay also.

Hi all !

I got two more orders in one the buyer added Re. 1 as shipping & in the 2nd he added Rs.12 as shipping.

while the listing shows shipping Rs.55 as national courier.

I also sent email to trust n safety team , they saying that this is a known issue and they are working on it.
