Another cheater on Ebay ?

Now,
I had wrapped very safely as usual this Nokia mobile 110% brand new handset on 23.04.08 with 2 plastic bags,and handed over to bluedart,it was delivered locally within next 17hours with congisment #11977615926 (Bluedart)
Bluedart people knows me very well as I always use to ship my handset,
After recieveing the handset now buyer said,that I had sent him a very used nokia mobile,even said games were running on mobiel,conacts where there,phone was used over 1hour,
Which is 110% wrong,becuase I myself,personally has checked everything,packed and handed to bluedart whom I am using since last 1 year to dispatch my items and personal things,bluedart knows me very well,
I asked bluedart about this,they said me,that buyer has check the mobile infront of delivery boy and then signature clearly " That he has verfied the parcel opening and he is satisfied"

Then I clarify few things with buyer,
1.Was Packet was in 110% best condition? he said YES and describe me as I had packed
2.IMEI number given by buyer was not matching which I had sent,
3.Buyer called me couple of times before personally,and asked me to replace his Old nokia and HTC mobile with my new one with extra charge (ex-change offer :P),and I said NO

Then also I said,OKAY FINE !!! give me the handset back and I will refund you,becuase IMEI number is noted with me,but he said,NO! he want same Nokia N70 replacement!

There are some more situations I can't express here,but its clear that he got the brand new handset,and now he is trying to get replaced his old nokia same mobile with another new brand handset... isn't that a nice trick he used?

I am very reputated buyer and starting newly selling on Ebay,I had already sold over 8mobiles of high range succesfully on EBay,of which I got some feedbacks you can check.I didn't came here in Ebay to earn money,I started selling for experience,Enjoyment and earning people.
but,for no reason he is blaming me that I am doing this & that.
Now he threats me that,I will sent the product to ebay etc etc,I said goahead,even I want you to send it to ebay or make a POLICE complain,becuase that IMEI is not mine,
He has not yet confirmed me that recipt of Paisapay item received.

Please advice what should I do?I can provide you the bill of original IMEI number which I had sent him.
If bluedart contact the local bluedart office,they will get my reputation from there,I don't have to tell about that here!

Awaiting for advices,and proper steps to be taken.

Request Ebay please have a watch on this Buyer,he thinks himself way to smart...but this is starting !

That is a sad case.
One side effect of present FB system is that, if buyer wants, he cant make life hell, even though the present changes in FB caters to long standing issues of repeat FB.
If this can happen to reputed ebayer like you, other members may feel insecure. I dont know what to suggest.
But, please dont pull down your listings.

Hi Everyone,

Buyers with wrong intent are many on eBay as well as in the offline market.

With time one surely learns to identify them with ease. After years of selling one thing that I have learned is profiling your buyers.

The words that they use, what they speak and gestures that they make is enough to know their intent. It better either not to deal with them or be a little extra careful.

I have seen some of our own PowerSellers on eBay India refuse stock of products available to customers just because they felt that particular customer could be a trouble maker.

There are some issues which will always remain in Online Selling due to the very nature of the business. However with time and experience one can identify problems before they hit you!

Let us together be more alert and keep posting the issues on the Cafe (boards). This will help us make eBay a better place to transact.

Always specify the IMEI nos on bill or invoice , so it will safe guard your sell .

now buyer may give u negative & go for dispute , don't worry , defend at ODR , provide all your proof they will surly help u out.

in our 5 year we have also face same , we have also lost many bugs on such cases.

now from buyers communication & approach only we filter the high end product sell .

relaxkaro , you have been genuine buyer and have bought many items from us in past.

Such problems, which you face, happen to all sellers. In such situation keep cool and face it with odr and mediation. As Mahavir rightly says always write serial number on invoice and IMIE on invoice so that your interests are safe. Many times we face similar problems where buyers have same model and purposely buy the same item from us and then they write to eBay that item is defective. Once we ask them the serial number which is in our invoice and the product back, for replacement/repair that time they don’t respond. This way you can be sure that your sent item is not exchanged for buyers benefit.

Odr India is just a waste.I applied for a case and i havent received any reply for the past one and a half weeks.I couldnt send one item since my grand father had died and i received the negative feedback without the buyer contacting me.I dont want to post a negative feedback for him since he is not at fault.

But i think he has not awaken yet,in case i post a negative feedback,he would surely confirm to feedback withdrawal.. 😞

If the buyer doesn't reply ODR will close the case in your favor.
