Help Me regarding paypal withdrawal.

hello everyone

i have signed up with paypal one year ago.i have a basic PERSONAL account.im from india and my account is unverified as i dont have a credit/debit card to add to paypal.

I have acculumated an amount of $500 from various paid survey sites and cash games.Now im want to withdraw money from my account.But i have many doubts.Can anyone make me clear.

-->As im from INDIA, i can withdraw money by requesting a paper cheque to my address.Im unverified,still can i request payment via check ? If so wats the withdrawl limit for unverified account ?

-->Also in how many days i can expect my check delivered to me, i mean totally including the time taken for processing to delivery of check to me(im from india,so kindly sugesst me expected days such that i can plan my finances).

-->Being a unverified user how much can i send money to fellow unverified user ?



i have checked and read many FAQs on Paypal site.yet i cant come across answers.thanx in advance for ur replies.

Hello Rahul,
As you are unverified, you are limited to withdrawing a maximum of US$ 500 per month. PayPal cheques are payable at par with all CitiBank branches. Vheque withdrawal fee of 5 dollars per cheque is applicable. Some minor charges (Rs.50-60)may be levied after the cheque is deposited.
Unverified members have a TOTAL sending limit of US$ 100.

Hi Rahul,

Cheque issued by PayPal takes 2 weeks to receive with normal mail (not insured or registered). The best way to receive your money would be through Xoom. Sign-up with www.xoom.com and send money to yourself from your PayPal account. The fee for sending money through Xoom is $8.00 payable at all Punjab National Bank in India.

Hello,
Some of the most acclaimed members have outrightly rejected the idea that a "DEBIT CARD CAN BE USED TO LIFT THE PAYPAL WITHDRAWAL LIMIT AND GET VERIFIED".
I dont have a Credit Card but ultimately I came to verify my PayPal account 2 months back.

You can, as an Indian, verify your PayPal account using your VISA Debit Card from a Bank that has the facility of generating Virtual Credit Cards (like HDFC bank's NetSafe Cards) for online shopping.
The procedure is like this:
1. Generate a new Virtual Credit Card (INR 100 would do).
2. Enter the Credit Card details in the "Add a Credit Card" option of your PayPal account.
3. Login to your Virtual Credit Card service (like Netsafe Login for HDFC users).
4. Check for Transaction (Txn) Details tab.
5. The card you added to your PayPal account will show the details something like PAYPAL*EXPUSE1234, where 1234 denotes the 4-digit number you have to enter in your PayPal account (called the Expanded Use number).

Once you have done all this, your payPal account will be verified and you shall be allowed to send and receive limitless amounts using PayPal.

I would like to mention that 'Verified' members of PayPal can withdraw funds by requesting a cheque(at least US$ 150) as and when they want. Delays in receiving payments in your PayPal account are NON-EXISTENT, thank God. PaisaPay can take weeks to clear Credit Card payments. PayPal tells you if a member is verified (which helps a lot in determining if the buyer is genuine!) or not.
Credit Card verification is also possible for people who can generate Virtual Credit Cards (in case they dont have a physical one) through NetBanking and then by entering the 'Expanded Use Number' which is available in the online statement for that Card.
PayPal payments can be withdrawn using cheque (US$ 5.0 per withdrawal) or using the third-party service at www.xoom.com (8 to 15 dollars for upto US$ 1000). Funds transferred using xoom.com can be deposited directly in your account in any of the 50 supported BANKS in India.
Please keep a copy of your address proof (same as in your xoom.com account) and ID proof handy; XOOM.com may ask you to email the same in case they wish to verify.

Paypal says you can withdrawal up to 500.00 without being verified. This is not true, for I am going through this right now. Even to request a check, you still must add a bank account or credit card. I cant even send one dollar to anyone. I think paypal should explain all of this to people, but they trick you into this by making it sound like its no problem as long as its under 500.00
I sold a product on ebay, I read all of paypal's rules first, and wasnt concerned because my item would sell far less than 500.00 Its when you click on the "request check" button, that you learn of this other verification process. In order to receive a check you must "verify" your mailing address by way of credit card. Paypal will submit a 4 digit code to your credit card billing statement, you must enter this code to request a check.
So basically, without a credit card or bank account, you cant never get your money. I have 242.00 that I cant even touch, unless someone has been here before, they shouldn't respond. Alot of the answers above are simply false, or based on the paypal terms and conditions that doesnt even cover the check requirements issue. If anyone doubts this, then try for yourself to get a check from paypal without a bank account or credit card, it won't happen.

Maybe different conditions apply to US Customers of PayPal. I surely was able to withdraw using cheques before my Verfication.
