Can PaisaPay retrieve payment from a fraud vanished seller?

Hi

I have gone through the guide lines (suggested by eBay members) regarding the non-receipt of item paid for and found that there are 2 ways:
1. contact credit card co to charge back the payment
2. file an item non-receipt dispute to eBay

I have read the suggestions for solution of problem faced by eBay user v_dsouza and in his case he was lucky bcoz the seller responded.

In my case the seller never responded except once when he informed to deposit money in his ICICI bank a/c (Name: K.Srinivas A/C No: 630701508964) and i responded negative. Now he is deadly silent after receiving Rs 4599.00 on 2.5.06 thru PaisaPay (confirmed on 4.5.06). According to guide line I have to wait for 10 days before making a compliant to eBay. My question is, why a cheated buyer has to wait such long time in 'internet age' when the seller is not responding at all?

My credit card co (SBI) has informed their inability to proceed for reversing the transaction and suggested to contact eBay. Today is the 9th day after payment to the vanished seller (user id computermonitor4u, PaisaPay ID 16801357766)and yet AM I TO BELIEVE PAISAPAY CAN RETRIEVE MY MONEY FROM A VANISHED FRAUD SELLER? I like to mention it also that it was my first effort to purchase thru Ebay! What an experience!

over money is (may be)with eby in sellers account

i had similar problem and when i approached ebay the raply i got was that they had noting to do with paisepay..
so i called the back asking to stop payement

allways do transaction with paisepay using a credit card and not a direct bank transfer.. as i you this the is a fraud you can allows stop transaction on a card payement but not with a bank transfer..

same experiance. bought mobile phone, paid full amount of rs12500/- through credit card. cc issuer shown their inability to help in this regard and suggest to talk to ebay. todays the 21st day, since purchase. but filed. sent 50 messages to every department. but no hearing. i asked for the sellers bank a/c details in which the payment is credited so that i can try to trace out this fraud seller. ebay and paisapay both has refussed me to give any kinda details. they said, they are bound to their policies. i am shocked that the policies are made for supporting to fraud sellers and playing with money of the innocent buyer. i tried to file a police complaint, but they laugh at me as i dont know anything about this seller, and even dont know the ebay office addess where i can send a legal notice. THIS SITE SHOULD BE BANNED. I FEEL, I HAVE LOST MY MONEY. I AM VERY MUCH HARASSED. AND PLANNING TO CHALLANGE EBAY AND ITS POLICIES. I AM READY TO DIE FOR. MONEY IS NOT THE ONLY THING. ISSUE IS THAT SELLERS ALONG WITH THE HELP OF EBAY MEMBERS ARE CHEATING INNOCENT BUYERS OPENLY. I REQUEST FOR THE SUPPORT OF ALL THE BUYERS WHO SUFFERED THE SAME PROBLEM AS WELL AS THE BUYERS WHO NEVER GO THROUGH THE POLICIES AND BELIVE THAT EBAY AND PAISAPAY ARE SAFE. i am in the same boat. I paid on good faith using the paisapay system they debited my credit card and then the seller vanishes into thin air. i have mailed ebay regarding this and there is no response from their dept. It has been over 3 days

can i trust ebay ?
I was planning to start bussiness ebay but after reading this adn no reply from ebay staff i am in doubt.
I think i better look at others way to start bussiness.

Same problem with me. For the very first time I made a purchase on Ebay through paisapay (where they assure you that your purchase is protected upto Rs.50,000/- if payment is made by credit card).

I did not receive the item and have to pay my credit card company Rs.17210/- as they are unable to help in this matter.

I would really like to escalate this matter. I do not know how to proceed. After lodging a complaint, all I get is a general reply from Ebay. Wish they were more issue specific and more carefull in registering sellers.

its your money ... then why expect ebay to do something. IF they do something its a bonus... give your best shot !! Superstores_Tech

hey everyone,
i know you people have been cheated.. but what is ebays fault in this..
listen there are many people who have lost their money and have the same story as yours.. but to be very frank and practical you have two options ..
either to go for a claim and you may get your money back may take 90 days or more.

2nd option : sue ebay and paisa pay for their false promises.

even i have recvd my payments from paisa pay since a month and the payments amounts to more than 80000rs .. but i did something nice.. didnt dispatch the items till i recieve the payment in hand.. had to do this as paisa pay left me with no option but to do this.

plus i had sent one mobile nokia 9500 to my buyer who recvd the handset and stil paisa pay doesnt want to send my money...

this is the satisfaction you are giving us and the buyers ..

i am with you all buyers..
if anyone plans to sue paisa pay or ebay please let me know i willalso join.
