RATING POINT WITHDRAWN BY eBAY

Why is the rating point withdrawn from sellers ratings, when a BUYER FAILS TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION (either by non-payment / erroneous order).

Is the seller not eligible to gain the FEEDBACK RATING, posted by the buyer of the failed transaction ?

Under certain circumstances, a rating is witdrawan by eBay. The cisrcumstances are:

Removing all feedback from users who are indefinitely suspended within 90 days of registration

Removing feedback ratings (not comments) left by buyers who don't participate in the Unpaid Item process on eBay for an item.

This is to ensure that any unfair feedback does not reflect in a seller's account.
