Hello,
Lets Learn from each other's expertise.
I am starting this thread where contributions from everybody is expected.
May it be the Champions of Baazee ERA OR the New Comers.
Helpful ebay Staff members too are requested to show their presence.
The purpose of this thread is to put forward your expertise / knowledge which you think would be helpful to other members.
It may be Tips .....which may help in Selling better.
It may be pointing out..... the best Courier Company for National Selling.
It may be the best email service available.
It may be something related to Computers, Windows, Anti-virus, Ad-ware, spy-ware.
It may be something which others shouldn't do .....unknowingly.
Anything which you think would be helpful to others.
Just don't think that a particular TIP is quite common ....there may be someone who might be benefitted out of that.
MY CONTRIBUTION
I am giving you a small TIP ......many of you must be aware of this. But I still feel that there may be few who are un-aware of this.....
For All those who are using Windows XP and find that the system takes too long to BOOT UP.
Also, when you shut down ....the system takes time.
This may be due to many Items place in the start up.
That is..... many icons placed at the right hand bottom........ near the clock.
Icons of skype, Blinking net connection, webshots, Anti-virus, Bit meter, fax, MSN messanger...etc etc..
This slows down the machine quite a lot.
There may be many, who have higher configuration with higher RAM, but still the TIP may be useful.
Just HIBERNATE the system while closing.
For this.... Click start
Click...Turn off Computer.
Press SHIFT.
The Standby button would change to Hibernate.
Keeping the shift pressed ...left click HIBERNATE.
This will save your current desktop state to your hard disk so that you can resume where you left off, than shuts down your computer.
HOPING TO SEE MORE TIPS ON THIS THREAD.
regards

There is no way we can see the ID of the watcher.
We can only know the numbers of watchers for a particular listing.
I can't say how it can boost our business...... by knowing the ID of the watcher.
I think ebay must take into consideration to mention the state and not just the Country of each member.

buyers are not able to pay because they cant cross bank's gateway.A buyer paid by postage stamp of same value.Another is waiting for a few days to open gates.Shall I tell him also to pay by postage stamps?

I haven't followed when you said....
cant cross bank's gateway
Is it that you want to say that they are facing problems paying ONLINE?
Since I am not dealing in stamps so I may not be able to tell you whether you should accept stamps in lieu.
I guess if the amount is quite low then there is no harm but if its high I won't suggest you to accept stamps of similar value.

Yes.I was telling about online payments. You are right.I can accept 3+ Euro for stamp value. But I cannot accept 110$ like that.Good old PaisaPay can only help.
You remember the parcel, the post office lost and I initiated refund. Now post office gave me a hint that they will compensate me.I got the invoice to prove the value.
But one thing is troubling me.The buyer bid on something and asked me to ship another listed item instead. She did that earlier also.It worked okay:if buyer and seller are raji ,,to kya karega kazi.
Now if I give them the invoice and take compensation and if at any point the parcel pops up, what happens?
I am confused.I think,I should stop pursuing that and forget.
What do you say?
Thanx,
Truly,
Amitava

- When buying, check for the feedback score
- Check their comments
- check for the status of the seller
- Like a seller apna_bazaar gives very good deals, he always keeps his promise.
- One seller that I know is not very good its e-shop-india.
- One seller has always tons of new stocks every month. Its delhi-hatt-bazaar.
- If you want to buy trouser then apna_bazaar I have tested has very good fabric and genuine product.
- Try to paisa pay, item will be delivered immediately.
That's all
