Can I get PayPal service in india ( delhi ). i Have Bank account in indian local bank.

Iam also in delhi. After referring to many forums, I came to know that paypal is offering checks for Indians to withdraw money. And this cheque can be deposited in any local bank where processing takes about 20 days . if it is citibank, then processing will be over in 2-3 days.
I have recently signed up with paypal. But my monthly/ total withdrawal limit is shown as $0.00
does it mean that I cannot withdraw. (i dont have a credit card) so, iam unverified. what should i do?
I have read that withdrawal limit is $500 (month). why it is showing $0.00. can anyone using paypal in India can verify this for me?

I too wish to know more about receiving payments thru Paypal. Do I need to inform my bank about receiving hese payments from Paypal as the payments would be in foreign exchange How long does it normally take for Paypal credits to take effect after receiving cheque.

Paypal doesnt offer direct moeny to india,you can withdraw money from them and they send yo ua DD payable at par from citibank.For delhi it will take 2-3 dasy to get the moeny

Hi, I'm from Australia. You might be able to get Paypal verified by mail, if you don't have a credit card. Paypal will post you a letter with a security code in it. Then you add the security code to the paypal form and it verifies your address.

In Australia, we can link up our bank account with Paypal, so it's easy to transfer money. Paypal verifies your bank account by depositing a few cents, then you have to tell them how many cents were deposited (like a test to see if you really own that account).

I'm here to find out whether we can use paypal to buy from India sellers. Is it possible?

Hello Karen,

Most Indian Sellers happily accept paypal. From next month onwards, Indian sellers will also be allowed to show their paypay id in their listings 🙂

Perhaps you can help me with a search term. I visited India a long time ago and bought some beautiful Rajasthani material. Now I want to buy some more, but I don't know what to search for.

The material is very thin batik or printed cotton, measuring approximately 3 metres x 1.2 metres. The material is so thin that the seller flicked & stretched it in the sun and it was dry in a few minutes. Do you know what search term I should be using?

I think it must be some tie & dye cotton fabric (skirt, tops, saree or may be just the fabric) as I am a seller from Rajasthan, this is the first thing that came to my mind.
