can anyone please tell me if its possible for us to buy an iphone from the ebay usa website and can get it imported to india ?
if possible then does anyone know the workaround for customs and duties ? do we have to show them anything ? or pay ? or importing something for personal use wont be a problem ?

if value was upto 10000 then u could have got away mentioning it as a gift. Now in this case ask the seller to send via a courier and not post. And then try customs clearance.

Can any one tell me if i order an iphone from US to India, Chennai will there be a issue like paying customs or getting it lost ? It left US on 5th Jan not yet received till 10th Jan. Any idea whom to contact in Chennai in customs if its stuck or will anyone from customs contact me ?
