I oredered a Nokia 5800 From ebay.com Now when i track the item it shows me this:

Now it has been 5 days and still the item is with the customs department.. I am getting worried...what should i do now? The seller has declared the actual value of the cellphone and not as a gift..so nothing illegal has been done on his part. Also the item is insured and paid by paypal..but what should i do now?? Is it normal for customs department to keep it for that long. If not whom should i contact?

From Where are you ?
Contact your Local post office with AWN . they will check at their end and let you know the status and reason for delay
If possible ,give them written request and get a acknowlegement of same . they will act fast

What was point in buying Nokia 5800XM from US. It has cost you approx Rs.17700/- and that too it has been unlocked and without any warranty.

The same in available on ebay.india, brand new box pack, no unlocking business and with full Nokia India warranty for Rs.16990. You can also get it on 6 EMI. No headache at all
