why seller asking me for a positive feedback before shipping the item?

seller called me and asked to provide positive feedback for the product else they may not be able to ship the item to my location, when i said i will not provide feedback unless i recieve the item they cancelled order, please let me know why should i provide positive feedback unless i have recieved the item.
it would have been better if i could have ordered the same item from any other site. this was total wastage of my efforts and time.

Where do you live?

It is not possible to deliver items to certain remote locations within the delivery deadlines and so the seller may be hesitant to ship the product to you.

Any way, you need not provide the feedback before the item is delivered. In fact you need not provide it at all - it is optional.

I agree that it may not be able to deliver items to certain remote location, but the seller is ready to provide delivery to same location only after providing positive feedback, does this makes any sense?

Ans also, i have recieved many idems at same location from ebay and other onlie sites.
