Dear Sir/Madam,

Seller Q's
Is the EBay fees+service tax+education cess charged on the selling price of the item or (selling

price+shipping cost)?

The 2.5% /3% Paisapay charge is on the entire transaction amount (selling price+shipping cost) I guess?

is the demand draft from the buyer is payable to the sellers user id on e-bay/ or the sellers name?

When the seller pays through Paisapay(credit card/online transfer), is the amount directly credited to my

bank account?

I couldnt find clear answers under help.

Please clarify ASAP.

Thanks,
kaverappa

1. Its very common to understand that a seller calculate the price of his/her item including all the expenses (e.g purchase price + all ebay fees + all taxes + overhead expenses + profit mergin).
Yet the price became below the market price because of nominal overhead expenses. In some cases seller include overhead expenses(vig labour cost, packing charge, parcel insurance cost, transporter charge for purchasing etc) with the delivery charges.

2. Demand draft generally to be drawn in favour of seller co's name or on Seller name as specified by the seller.

3. When a buyer (not seller) pays thru PaisaPay it will goes to the PaisaPay dept(a subsidiary of Ebay.in) and PaisaPay Dept will send the amount collected thought the week to the seller weekly.

Hope the above will clear your doubts.
