money refunded to buyer without contacting seller

ebay is highly irresponsible for there sellers.. How can they refund amount without contacting seller? I repeatedly called them to ask when my case will be handled and they informed that they will definitely call me but instead of calling me they just refunded the amount ..now how can i rely on such site?

I'm also of the same opinion eBay really doesn't "like" buyers. This was the first item I'd sold on eBay (and last)

In my case, the buyer has received his item, safe and sound, but it seems he is too lazy to confirm the receipt, duh (even after multiple follow ups). On calling eBay, they just say follow up with buyer OR we'll remit the money if buyer doesn't confirm the receipt within stipulated time(Come on, give me my money. That guy has already got his stuff).

What if he opens a case to get a refund after stipulated time? I've to again go through painful task of proving myself right(if I'm allowed to after looking at the case above).


The other complaint I've is against Auction format. Non-serious buyers can bid any value and they get away easily (damn, you can't even leave them a negative feedback and the mobile app can "just" leave positive feedback, ouch..). Why don't charge a minimum fees say 2% of the bid amount to each bidder to keep such people away? They can refund the money back if buyer doesn't win OR even if they cancel the bid before some stipulated time. If a buyer doesn't buy after winning, give that money (or part of it) to the seller to make up his losses.

Twice I was a victim. Money gone, article gone and further loss of courier charges. The only relief is that buyers did not give any feedback.

There are many immture buyers who do not know the concept of online buying and too hasty to leave a feedback.

Ebay should block the buyers giving negative feedback for the first ten times or imply some sort rule or principle to avoid negative feedback by first time buyers.

I am also in same boat.  My fund hold for more than 2 months. my amoun tRs.49500

Evan though i have all proofs but ebay not accept it.

I am helpless now.
