I need not explain more. I have paid 46.0 where I thought my damages would be 1.0. Right I should have read the fine print, but is the world ebay India wants to create?
What else would one expect from new users? Leave and never return or simply ruin the buyer's rating?

I always give free shipping to all items listed in Singapore,Great Britain and US.This I am doing for last 3 years and more.No dissatisfied buyer.
You should explain your experience in detail.Your suggestion is against ebay's policy of promoting 'DEEP DISCOUNT AND FREE SHIPPING'
Please be a responsible member.
Thanx,
Truly,
Amitava

There is no fine print anywhere. All print is designed by ebay, sellers cannot change the fonts to make fine print. Shipping charges are written in big letters and surely no seller can take money out of your pocket anyway.
When you make payment on payment page, there the shipping charges are clearly mentioned (if any) and nobody can cheat or lie on that part and surely you must have read that part where shipping cost is mentioned just below the item cost, so if you don't like what you see you don't buy. Its as simple as that.
Some sellers offer "Free local shipping" this facility is only for within the town where the seller resides as the cost of delivery is meager in this case.
Some sellers offer "Free shipping on all India basis" In this facility surely the shipping cost is included in the cost of the item.
So In conclusion please read the shipping terms and cost when you are on the payment page of ebay.

When frees shipping is only offered for seller's own city ,
Free shipping logo shown with such listings are misleading ,
And many buyers are misled .

Very rightly said. This is exactly what I say.
It is system fault and has to be rectified by eBay ASAP.

Many sellers including yours truly keep Local COD as free shipping and charge hefty amounts for local and national shipping and we get the Free Shipping Logo.
The shipping logic should be that even if there is one shipping method which is chargeable, the free shipping logo should not be applied. The current logic is if that the first shipping method is free, than the free shipping logo pops up.
