I am trying to sell one item for a couple of months. Each time the auction is reaching the final minute, some fake buyer is coming into picture and placing a fake bid, thereby not allowing the genuine bidder to buy the item. We can make out these fake buyers just by seeing his id. Ids like HarryPeter, Super maaan etc. I am vexed listing this item multiple times. I have complained to ebay so many times, but they are not taking any action on these fake buyers. On their suggestion i have selected multiple option while listing like Buyer's rating should be minimum 2 positive votes, buyer should not have any unpaid item history in the last 6 months etc. But nothing works.
I suspect they won't take any action, because each time when i list the item, they are getting listing fee right? Again these ebay people have a habit of calling the sellers why they are not relisting the item.
I also suspect that some buyers who already placed a bid on this item create their own Ids like this in the last moment to cancel their bids. Because no buyer has responded for my item when i give a second chance offer.
On top of that these ebay people are creating hurdles for me again and again. They have asked me to send some documents within 48 hours. Since i couldn't check mail, i have not responded. They have simply suspended my account. It took more than a month to reinstate the account. This was for address verification. Again withing this month they sent me another notice saying the same reason asking me the bills for the items i have listed in ebay with the same 48 hours condition. Luckily this time i could respond within 48 hours. But i don't know when they will suspend my account. If that happens, i will never visit ebay again.
They can suspend the sellers account just by giving 2 days time, but they won't allow the receivers to send unpaid item notice and get FVF deduction only after 2 weeks. How stupidity it is. All they think is sellers are the dedicated business people to ebay, who should respond immediately whenever they need something like "Yes Sir". They don't think the sellers are part time sellers in ebay who have other work also.
Another good news is that, if you send any documents to ebay through normal post, they will not accept it or they will not take any action. All they need is the proof. Remember if you are from a remote village where you don't have the fax facility. They you will be totally ignored.
Seeling all these things, i have decided to leave ebay. ebay has become the Buyer centric and fake buyer supportive site.
