I think that eBay.in should include almost all banks which support internet banking as mentioned above. As eBay.in has included almost all banks with branches in their list for processing PaisaPay remittance to sellers, they should also include all the banks supporting internet banking in India to help buyers. Everybody in India do not have a Credit Card for purchase and they are also worried about buying using a Credit Card. But we all have Internet Banking and a Computer. Also, Credit Card is not issued to everyone in India due to many rejections as all of us know. Only 3 Banks included in paying through PaisaPay is a huge problem for buyers which can be the reason for not buying on eBay India. If eBay India does not include other Banks for Internet Banking and other methods to pay through PaisaPay, buyers will get attracted to other Indian sites offering numerous payment methods.

Thanks and best regards,
parkashprem

Yes, I too agree for the demand of alternate payment options...

The imminent need is to improve the customer support for Paisapay. A lots of buyers (including me) complaining about poor customer support experience.

Atleast they should give a genuine answer to all the complaints they have attended. Also just take a while to go thru the previous chain mails related to each issue... so that they can avoid most of their stupid responses that save lots of time for the interacting party.

In light of my past experience... I would like to avoid any future interactions with this customer support team. for that better to avoid payment thru paisapay even though all my as of date purchases done thru paisapay..

Dear kumar.m, snrama, parkashprem and all other members,

I'm glad to state that the suggestions that you all have posted here to increase the number of banks and thereby increase payment options to a wide array of buyers community has been accepted for feasibility check and the team has started working on it.

The team is excited about this especially to see the passion our community holds for eBay.

Since this is going to involve alot of tie-ups, co-ordination and legal reviews it will take some time and we should be in a state to launch more banks and payment methods such as Debit crd facility and cash cards as more payment options only towards later half of this year.

Being the eyes and ears of the community to eBay and vice versa, it is my pleasure that I can have suggestions passed onto the concerned teams and ensure to update the discussion threads if we find feasibility on initiating them.

Having said this I hope all members keep posting their suggestions and concerns on how we can better our marketplace with every such initiative :-).

You guys rock!! Thank you for your suggestions.

Keep posting!!

Regards,
Indraneel

Ya it correct
* Some days before i attained a seminar of CNBC news they said that in INDIA 85% of the people are interested in buying the items through online but the problem is in that nearly 70%-75% of people have DEBIT card but not the CREDIT card so why don't eBay also accept DEBIT cards if eBay accepts it then the sale will be double so once eBay.in should do something for this.

I needed to buy some stuff from ebay. I got my SBI account internet activated so that I may do so. But now I realized that ebay doesn't even accept payment from the largest bank in India. Because of this, I went through the whole process of shopping on ebay, just to realize that I cannot buy from here. The three banks listed here are not popular at all. Most people get there salary in SBI or Canara or other nationalized bank.

As I stated in my other post, Paisa Pay should be merged with Paypal and Paypal should be the Default Payment System ( With inclusion of all the other banks). This will be beneficial for both Sellers and Buyers (national and international).

Paypal is already remitting to all the banks supporting all banks with internet banking. Hopefully we will see INR in Paypal soon.
