This is regarding the refund related to the following transaction and related guarantee claim.
I purchased the item through EMI, and was charged a total of Rs. 7437.10 to my HDFC card. This is including the item cost of Rs 7178 and EMI processing fee of Rs 258. It appears that the EMI processing fee was included in the original transaction and not charged separately by the bank.
The claim was finally approved on Dec 19th or so, and refund of Rs 7178.67 was credited to my card, not the full amount of Rs 7437.10.

HDFC bank later preclosed the EMI option on that transaction and debited the pending balance ie 4 EMIs. Two of the EMIs were already charged in the previous two month's statements. So basically I was credited Rs 7178.67 and debited a total of Rs 7437.10 ( Rs 4958.06 + Rs 1239.52 x 2) ie there is difference of Rs 258.43 which you still owe me.
I checked with HDFC and they said the processing fees were not charged by HDFC, and the refund instruction they got was to refund only Rs 7178.67 of the Rs 7437.10 transaction ie excluding the processing fees charged.
So please refund the EMI processing fees of Rs 258 asap. During the claim process I was informed that the refund would include the entire transaction amount including EMI fees. I tried contacting eBay through the normal contact methods multiple times, but I haven't received a single response. Do I need to dispute the transaction to get your attention?
